I have both a hd dvd and a blue ray player. and i have to say that when a movie comes out on both, I get the blue ray version. it just looks better, and clearer, plus the blue ray player up-converts my regular dvds, so they look even better. Blue Ray was winning, now you'll have to buy both like me for certain movies in high def. It's like Betta max and vhs all over again. betta looked ten times better than VHS, but JVC sold the tech to every one, so if flooded the market and all you could get in stores was vhs. Sony kept it exclusive, and it just died out. since sony is blue ray I hope they learned their lesson and take a page from JVC, they can still win the high def war.

What's new? those idiots that produce it probably offered him double what he got for "Terminatorformers".

Can't they get a decent director for the sequal?

How bout Jim Cameron or Ridley Scott?

Both have far more talent when it comes to directing films than Bay does.

Yea, I was reading this on IGN and it was kinda a shock to see no TF2 but I'm sure it will be made. I actually agree with Bay that why support only 1 format, what about the ppl with Blue-ray now, so they have to go spend the extra cash, buy a HD-DVD just so they can watch Transformers.

In the end Paramount is being kinds stupid, by releasing it on Blue-Ray aswell they make even more money

Its like saying I'm gonna mae this PC game that only supports Intel, to hell with the AMD uses etc...

regarding someone's porn comment.......

i dont know if porn will make a difference this time....porn is so easy to get these days especially online and then its all over PPV television with its own dedicated channels and then (least in my case) the movie channel in my city plays it nightly and its actual XXX porn too, not that softcore stuff where naked people pretend have sex...oh and thats free.

i just dont think the home video market of porn will have that huge an impact on the outcome of this "war".

dont get me wrong i'm well aware porn makes billions yearly on the home video market alone but its just a different world and so much easier to get ur hands on.
