Say what? That's right. In what seems to be a done deal, Paramount has told CNN that Megan Fox is out of Transformers 3. This confirmation comes moments after Deadline.com reported that Megan Fox was out. Written by Nikki Finke, she's got this to say;

I've just learned that Paramount won't be picking up Megan Fox's option on Transformers 3 -- and that it was "ultimately" director Michael Bay's decision. (So he gets his revenge for her remark comparing him to "Hitler".) Right now Bay and writer Ehren Kruger et al are finishing up the script for the threequel and "giving Shia a new love interest makes more sense for the story," an insider tells me. Bay will start casting immediately for the new female co-star.

While this news excites me to a degree, I'll have to say that I'm not looking forward to the new female lead (if this is indeed true I mean). Bay prefers women who he thinks are better for the shot (meaning nice rack and a big butt), with that in mind, and the fact that he's looking for a girl who is to be in her mid twenties, I'm not at all looking forward to who he chooses. There aren't any appropriately aged (for the part) actresses right now that I know of who both look good and can act. I mean look at his pick in Fox, she acts about as well as a bit of wood and emotes worse than one. Of course this could all be for nothing and it could just be more of his mouth-born excrement.

Take it with a grain of salt is right. I'm in prove it mode over here: until such time as we have confirmation otherwise, Fox is still in the picture and I call BS on rumors to the contrary.

Hope I'm not being too grumpy about it, because I admit there's no need for it. I'm just sayin': don't believe the hype until it's proven fact.

I want to see less skin and more metal. But we need to make enough money off of transformers 3 to make transformers 4.

You think the ticket sales will be hurt with her absence?

Anyway I hope the rumors get squashed, We have photos of her on set and her complaining and convincing the transformers 3 people that she does not need a tan.

Yea, right. Like their gonna spend the time to build up a relationship that makes more sense then the one they spent two movies on. I don't believe anything til I see when it comes to these Bay movies.
