I don't suppose one of you was at the Madison Heights TRU today? There was a big white pickup truck with some black racing stripes running down the back with, you guessed it, Decepticon logos. I actually wanted to know where they got 'em.
One was a regular decal, the other was this thick metal piece on the side of the truck.

Canton Target had to HA Jazz yesterday, and the Stealth Force deals - Inferno.
I grabbed Gears, and Hound Stealth Force. Nifty toys. Similar to mask. Shame that like on Hound they added metal looking bits in the open form that look like movie TF wires, and joints.
I will probably grab Soundwave and Silverstreak at some point and Inferno when he comes out.

Blaster was delivered yesterday. To my horror, this is what the box looked like:
That brown paper you can see through the hole is all that was protecting Blaster, so of course the packaging got banged up. Is there a more incompetent pair than Hasbro Toy Shop and FedEx? I even contacted HTS when I placed my order and asked that they make sure it's packed securely this time.

I'm actually surprised that there was any packing material in it at all. Usually my HTS stuff is in a box 5 times bigger than it needs to be and no packing material.

Also, TRU is much more incompetent than any pair. If it had been them, Blaster would have been shipped in a giant envelope with no padding after alternately confirming and cancelling your order three times.

just got back from the Flint Toys R Us with a shiny new Masterpiece Grimlock. Great figure. I just wish toy companys would go back to square boxes. Took me 10 minutes geting him out of his little plastic prison. they still had 3 left as of 2:00 pm. $69.00

My Southfield TRU is totally stocked up on all sorts of things right now. We had some Animated Voyagers on clearance for $12.98, so I finally caved and bought Optimus.
And oh, am I happy I did. His robot mode is excellent. A very G1-reminiscent transformation, and not a complicated movie-style one at that. Unfortunately, his axe is a bit of a letdown and I don't really care for the gun design, but I'm happy I got him. He looks great on the shelf. I should really catch up on that show.
Also, I saw some HA Jazz at the 15/Coolidge Target. They had three, plus some Bumblebees in the new packaging. Tempting, but I'd already bought Optimus and randomly found a DCU Cyborg Superman/Mongul two-pack, so Jazz will wait. He'll be around. =)
My dad randomly found a box of the toys on the side of the road and gave them to me. Not much for me in there, couple of Star Wars figures, but the odd things were a preview entry-mode Starscream from the first movie (missing an arm), a Chromia, again missing an arm and some other pieces, plus one of the arm/door pieces from Deluxe Barricade. There were also a couple of those little toddler-friendly figures, Shockwave and Grimlock.
Not really sure what I'm gonna do with Starscream. It'd be nice to have that arm, lol.

TRU in Ann Arbor/Ypsi had no MP grimlocks. they had battle ops BB, leader starscream and both leader primes. (hftd/rotf)
