The Cylon Elf was new style. Apparently made to compliment Santa Spidey.

As for the random giveaway, it seems to be connected to the Target promotion I participated in a while back. DST offered up a free promo blank figure if you bought some Minimates at Target and sent them your address. Apparently, they put them in a database. I've never actually ordered anything directly from DST but I think I'm going to take advantage of that 10% off if I can find a few things I like.

Nice acquisitions, Magnus. Free toys and discounts kick butt.

I poked around a little today for R. Ratchet and Thundercracker, no dice. The stores were fairly well-stocked with new RGs, Robot Replicas Wave 2, Leader Brawls, Megatrons. Some of the Target Basics were out, I only saw a few Air Raids and one Armorhide.

I picked up a second RR Frenzy, and a new Combat Squad Torpedo. The Frenzy was at Target in Livonia, and Torpedo was the the WM next door.

I tried to score the new Sig 6 3-pack TRU Exclusive, but still not there. But I did find the super-rare tigertracks24, with unprecedented articulation and a kick-ass head-sculpt. And he comes with a Mustang!!!

PQP, very funny.

We did go see Resident Evil: Extinction. It was pretty good, like the others, and Milla J. is always good, but I wish they were closer related to the game plots. Still enjoyable though.

Todd and Chad, I think you are leading me on a wile goose chase. I saw no Joe stuff which is the usual, except S6 Recondo (new), and Lt. Boulder--who I felt compelled to buy.

I left Torpedo. Not impressed with wet suit wearing dudes.

They actually had more out at my Wal-mart today, though no more Cobra Troopers. Actually, the only new one's they had were one Lady Jaye and a Buzzer, but at least they restocked.

Football equilibrium has been restored. Michigan started 0-2 and Lions started 2-0, Michigan won its 3rd game, so needless to say, the Lions needed to loose their 3rd game... at least thats how I see it. :sad:

In other news...the UAW could not reach a deal with GM...does this mean anything to anyone?

I do not and have not worked for a union, so I have a very one sided view of this. I would like to hear some of your guys comments on it.
