JTKranix wrote:Almost 5 months later my order from imperialoutposttoys.com shows up. My SDCC pre-orders. The order was supposed to be a Silver/Gold headed Destro and a McQuarrie Obi-Wan/Yoda set.
I got a Silver headed Destro, McQuarrie Obi-Wan/Yoda and a check for $40. They arrived in good shape which suprised me considering I had to basically call and/or email this guy every day for the last 3 months.
So the search for a SDCC Gold headed Destro continues!

Highbeam wrote:Ypsi K-mart had a bunch of Voyagers (including Ironhide, Ratchet, Megatron, and Blackout), along with several deluxes (Barricade, Scorponok, Dropkick, Arcee, Brawl, Jazz, and Dreadwing), and of all things, a Leader Prime. Hidden behind the deluxes was a lovely little treasure that I grabbed instantly :3

DeepWater wrote:Great pictures, Highbeam! And now that I've seen a few 'real life' pictures of the Roadbots, I think I'm completely sold - at least on the Lamborghini.

DeepWater wrote:Wait, you can get those in stores?! And forgive an ignorant thumb resident who doesn't get down to the city now that gas costs and arm, leg and kidney, but Value City is on Gratiot somewhere close to 12 Mile or so? If they have them there, let me know and I'll try to drive down on Saturday if it isn't trying to dump a foot of snow on us!
I realize that gas is probably more expensive than shipping, but I'm far too into the thrill of the hunt to let that stop me.
That and I need to go out and find new Family Dollar/Dollar General stores. I require more Spychangers and Universe scouts for nefarious purposes and have kinda bought out the local stock.

Bwahh, Highbeam's not working! His engine wouldn't turn over today, and I tried jumping him but that didn't work, so he's going in to the shop tomorrow
I've just got the Optimus Prime and Prowl spychangers so far

DeepWater wrote:Good luck with Highbeam. My truck gets fussy this time of the year and I should probably spring for a new battery after Xmas.

Well, if it is Camshaft, or Swerve you'll be paying a lot for that Alternator!
