Aww, looks like Highbeam has an older relative *giggle* Actually my car's in the shop still. For some odd reason he worked just fine today for them, so maybe it was a battery issue after all (just needed a recharge), but the guys are keeping him there until Monday to try starting him up again. He spent today getting a total overhaul because he hit 100,000 miles a few days ago and needs a few things replaced because of age. Hopefully he'll be all spiffy and great on Monday when I get him back

The only downside is it's gonna run a few hundred $ :/ Bleh...

I picked up what I believe to be the last two waves of the single carded Joe's tonight (minus the second Destro).

I also found some wave 7 TAC figures. Pretty good night, 9 Joe's and 4 TAC

Apparently Wave 5 Joes have been found at Walmart by Real One. He checked in with this info., on the GD 25th Joe's thread.

I believe he found Flash and Snow Job! :shock:

Well, I'll probably be getting an Optimal Optimus for my Birthday this year, so I've been hunting around for a TM2 Megatron to go with him.This has proved to be quite difficult, since e-bay is charging about $50-$60 for a complete one, anybody got a good place where I can pick one up cheaper? Otherwise, I'll be hunting for him at BotCon this year, he'll probably be around the same cost but I won't have to pay shipping.

Transmetal Megatron or Transmetal 2 megatron? you can get Transmetal Megs from Toyarena on ebay for 29.99 and Transmetal 2 for 59.99. Also, there was a loose Transmetal Megs at Time Traveler's in Berkley for 12.99 the last time I was there. They also had two sealed Optimal Optimuses. I know one was 44.95. Hope this helps.

THanks! Well, I didn't expect it to be this soon too! The job offer came in a week ago and they told me they want me to start asap! So I had to get out there fast.

looks like i'll be toy hunting out in the west. but I doubt they have walmarts in the middle of san francisco! haha!

Just had to make a random comment

On Saturday, I was drivin' around Detroit with my dad before I had to take him to the airport (had to detour to his job to pick up something he'd forgotten) and we drove by the old train station and exactly where Megatron and Optimus fought in the movie :3 That was awesome. Next time I'm bringing a camera though, cuz I want to take pics from all the movie angles :b

Man, these amazing Diamond Select busts are really making me consider collecting statues. They are always so cool looking, I love the Soundblaster bust, and they are always decently priced,even the exclusives.

In other news, I broke down and picked up TM2 Megatron for $53 on e-bay.It's a little more than I wanted to pay, $15 more, but that's just one less voyager figure I buy. He looks great, though.

I've been trying to make a list of things I'm going to be shopping for at BotCon this year. So far I'm planning

Re-Issue Sky Lynx($90)
10 Aniv. Cheetor,Primal,Megatron,Tigatron,Waspinator,($26x5=$130)
MP-5 Upgrade Pack($50)
TM2 Dinobot and Cheetor(hopefully I can get both for like $30)
TM Cheetor and Rattrap and Tarantulus(again maybe all for like$30)

So far that comes to like $350 but I'm not kidding myself, I'm expecting to pick up about half that.
