Sorry, my bad!

Well I picked up the "big" Christmas present for my girlfriend today. 8GB iPod nano and a pink case :)

I had been back and forth on the 8GB nano or 80GB classic for the last couple of weeks (cost difference is $50) but with as often as she drops her cell phone, I think going the nano route with flash memory vs. classic route with a hard drive was a wise choice.

Almost 5 months later my order from imperialoutposttoys.com shows up. My SDCC pre-orders. The order was supposed to be a Silver/Gold headed Destro and a McQuarrie Obi-Wan/Yoda set.

I got a Silver headed Destro, McQuarrie Obi-Wan/Yoda and a check for $40. They arrived in good shape which suprised me considering I had to basically call and/or email this guy every day for the last 3 months.

So the search for a SDCC Gold headed Destro continues!

That's pretty weak. They gave you your 40 bucks backs and probably sold their inventory on eBay for $100+ each.

Okemos TRU had 2 Concept Bumblebee's this morning. I had to run back out there for girlfriend christmas presents :)

We went out there last night and they had 3 dolls she wanted and I had been looking for, for a couple of months so I waited for her to leave the isle and I hid them :)

Damn Wizard of Oz Wicked Witch doll is MSRP $25 and selling well over $60 on eBay. If anyone would have told me I'd know this much about dolls a year ago I would have said your crazy!

I stopped by the Hyannis TRU at lunch today. they had restocked. no new allspark though, but they did have 2 '78 bumblebees and 3 concept bumblebees. they also restocked their star wars figures too. Chad, I have a gold going Darktrooper for you if you want it. they had a few Darth Revans, a Darth Malak, 2 mcquarrie starkillers, 3 mcquarrie vaders and 2 mcquarrie boba fetts too. As I was leaving TRU I saw a red Mazda RX-8 drive by.. looked just like Binaltech Meister/Zoom Zoom. well, gotta get back to work.

Ypsi K-mart had a bunch of Voyagers (including Ironhide, Ratchet, Megatron, and Blackout), along with several deluxes (Barricade, Scorponok, Dropkick, Arcee, Brawl, Jazz, and Dreadwing), and of all things, a Leader Prime. Hidden behind the deluxes was a lovely little treasure that I grabbed instantly :3

Best Deluxe in the line right there. Enjoy!

Jetfire's still my fav classic, but Mirage is pretty spiffy! Very poseable, which makes for great pics :D

TF figurine pics

I'll take more pics of the rest of my figs later (it was starting to get dark out, so I stopped).

Great pictures, Highbeam! And now that I've seen a few 'real life' pictures of the Roadbots, I think I'm completely sold - at least on the Lamborghini.

If anyone cares amazon has the Transformers hand held video game for $6.79. I tossed it in my cart to get me over the limit for free shipping on some other stuff I was ordering.

I love the Lambo :) I can take some pics of its car mode for ya later. It looks flawless in car mode, like it was only meant to be a model car. I'm going to Value City, among other places, tomorrow so we'll see if I give in and buy any other RoadBot :P

Wait, you can get those in stores?! And forgive an ignorant thumb resident who doesn't get down to the city now that gas costs and arm, leg and kidney, but Value City is on Gratiot somewhere close to 12 Mile or so? If they have them there, let me know and I'll try to drive down on Saturday if it isn't trying to dump a foot of snow on us!

I realize that gas is probably more expensive than shipping, but I'm far too into the thrill of the hunt to let that stop me.

That and I need to go out and find new Family Dollar/Dollar General stores. I require more Spychangers and Universe scouts for nefarious purposes and have kinda bought out the local stock.

Just found out one of my Christmas gifts today. After a day of shopping, although unwilling, with my mother and grandma, they got me heroes season 1 on dvd. I would've gotten it sooner but it seemed like a bunch of figures and video games came out at that time demanding my cash.Oh, and has anyone else seen the new live-action Speed Racer trailer? That looks amazing! I wasn't looking forward to it before, but now I am.

I'm going to the Westland Value City. If they have the lambo, I'll pick him up for you.

Bwahh, Highbeam's not working! His engine wouldn't turn over today, and I tried jumping him but that didn't work, so he's going in to the shop tomorrow :(

I've just got the Optimus Prime and Prowl spychangers so far :)

BIG BBTS order came in. Bunch of joes including Wave 4 single carded figures of the multi packs.

Also got my ipod convoy. It is actually very cool, and the new head sculpt is much more toon accurate. The speakers put out decent sound, and the way they tranform is pretty cool.

I have to tell you, the CLASSICs two-packs BBTS has are very cool.

Thank you! And I'll pretend to know where Westland is.

Good luck with Highbeam. My truck gets fussy this time of the year and I should probably spring for a new battery after Xmas.

I have some fairly miscellaneous Spychangers, but after getting a few duplicates, I thought if I can find some donor bodies, maybe I could paint up a set of Spychanger Stunticons. I'm much more used to painting real cars, so the thought of painting something so tiny is kinda nerve-wracking.

tigertracks24 - the only problem with the Classics 2packs is that I think I have half of each one already...

Today I need to finish holiday shopping for my cousin's kids. I was thinking Transformers, but maybe I'll go with noisy miniature construction equipment instead. They live in Delaware so I won't have to listen to it.

I actually like them better that the original packaged figs, and have a couple of each already, but the window in robot mode, with the velcro doors that you open to have a pop up version of each (ala TRU Classic Re-issue Soundwave), is very cool!!!

Bah, I won't get to go shopping today after all :/ I have the only working car at home because dad's out at work and bro's car's in the shop too (I swear, everything goes wrong before my dad leaves on a business trip...). So I have to stay home to pick bro up from school later...meh! Hopefully I'll get Highbeam back sometime today. It seems like the problem has to do with the alternator, but I really hope not... I hope it's not too expensive :/

I could go shopping after I get bro home though, but I don't trust the Venture... He's had a tendency to randomly die on me, and we still have no idea why his check engine light comes on all the time. We're not going to get that car totally fixed though because it's not worth it anymore; it's getting to expensive to maintain compared to its value.

Maybe I'll just take more silly TF pictures when bro gets home with the camera, lol!
