I would really REALLY like to start an online petition to Hasbro to bring the Beast Wars II LIO CONVOY mold over into the Western Hemisphere for the 25th Anniversary Universe line. They could just label it as a "Beast Wars Era" Optimus Prime if they don't want to confuse anybody with the "Convoy" thing. I don't see why they can't do it, since the mold is already made and everyone knows anything Optimus Prime sells. This has been a sought-after mold for years, and when they released the Big Convoy mold here in the States people snatched it up instantly (I never even saw one in stores, and I get to Target a LOT.) You'd think it would be a no-brainer.

If I recall correctly, it was a petition that got the fandom the repaint of the Seacons, even if as a limited release.

Isn't Seacons a Botcon toy? As opposed to regular Hasbro toy.

They also need Hasbros permission to do so. So ultimatly it's Hasbros call.

I wouldn't really count that in as "answer to petition". Ok, maybe halfway only.

It's like, ok, i answer your petition. But i don't wanna mess up my own plans. So i pass it on to an affiliated smaller group. Just for the sake of pacifying the clamor.

I'd like to see Hasbro answer a real petition in its own line, make available to everyone.

It makes sense putting it in the Collector line. Little kids would want 6 ugle looking fish whith what is comparably very poor play factor to other recent toys. Parents would pay $70-$80 price tag either, especially without any TV show promos or commercials.

Besides that petetion was going around for years and maybe only got a good 400-500 e-signatures. That's really not enough for a commercial release.

I'd say it's a blessing it's in the collectors line at all.
