Hey I was wondering does anybody know how to get a minicon? I mean I see the thing that says minicons but I cant get a minicon :sad:

Hi there, unfortunately the minicons ran out about 2 years ago after Murderplex of the Decepticons ate them all.

They are almost certain to be making a return eventually, but we have an impending cataclysm that will reboot the world coming later this year, so I wouldn't expect to see them for a while yet.

HEY!

Just because we devour all that is good and righteous in the universe doesn't mean we automatically ate all the minicons!

True we did because we love power, but still, don't generalize, it's not nice!

Technically, Murderplex only killed the Autobot Minicons, who ran low because Minicons to Autobots is like Chocolate to PMS women. Murderplex was simply saving the poor things by euthanizing them. The 'Cons, on the other hand, treated the Minicons like the free and independant race they were, and not as toys or things to purchase in exchange for energon. The Beast Factions where the natural evolution of the Minicons, with the Maximals being evolved from the ones the Autobots used and abused in various ways. It's why they're the weakest faction, though at one point, they had a fairly high spawn rate. Mean while, the Predacons, evolving from the free Minicon nation protected by the Decepticons, have personified the statement of "Dangerous things come in small packages."

Well yes there was that one too. But come on, it was so one track. Project B.A.R.T. was a constantly evolving mixing bowl of destruction!

In all honesty, the beast factions had about the same results on the game as Minicons and Bot modes, and got about the same about of support.

Plus, OS's backstory for V2 was using the Minicon/Micromaster sized beastbots.

Given that there wont be beast factions to start, I'd say it's a safe assumption we wont be following it.

We really need to remove the minicon thing on the short cuts or add a big sign/faq thing saying minicons are gone. This seems to be something that comes up a lot.

I thought it was in here but it seems its not. Ill update it today if I can.
