Yet again, I hope this isn't true - we've already had the excruciating jive-talking of Jazz (way to go on getting that right), the racist ebonics of the Twins, and now an-Italian-a who-a is-a called a-Dino because of-a Enzo-a Ferrari-a-s son-a?

I'm from Ireland, and thank god Bay is only doing these films as a trilogy, otehrwise he'd have a leprechaun Transformer called Luckicharms. :twisted:

How is it stereotypical that someone coming from Italy speaks with an Italian accent?

No doubt it's going to be stereotypical when the red italian Ferrari called Dino will turn up with a Dolmio pasta Sauce Hollywood version accent, rather than an actual one.

I would bet money that this charachter's reveal will be in a packed lunctime Roman Piazza, with tableful, full of spaghetti lined tables to knock over (maybe even tear part of a womans dress off along the way), because any other countries are treated shabbily in the Bayverse.

And we know who won that battle too, Hasbro. They said he was Brawl, Bay admitted him being called Devastator in the movie was an error. Bay and his cronies can say all they want, but Hasbro has the ultimate say.

It's things like this that show how little Bay and crew respect the franchise.

Yeah, I think the production probably has to have a licensing deal in place, where Ferrari would have final say on their brand - this gets around using the same 'non brand' that a lot of other car companys hate, because they're eager for a taste of the action, so to speak - but allows HasTak to sell off whatever they call it "european sports coupe" - or whatever the financial year dictates - so the big hitters don't normally get involved.

It's a statement based on what we have all seen before; if they were to go down the 'Dino' route, the name alone should infer what comes after, are they really going to deviate from the 'trite and rusted' character development, at this stage???

Judging by the estimated runtime, a lotta stuff will be dispensed with fairly quick...

if past performances are anything to go by, then he will appear, do something cool for five seconds then disappear for the rest of the movie or die a pointless death, without any audience reaction.
