I seem to remember someone posting about MMC creating a generic transforming mould which could be adapted into many charaters, using the same basic transformation?
Seeing those various figre shots, they all seem to have the same legs and waist!
Perhaps Im wrong but they do look very alike...

Yep, I think you are correct! In looking at the legs of all of them, they do indeed look very much alike. That might be one reason to go with FP over MMC with Quickswitch. I'll definitely need to see the alt modes to be sure, though.
[Edit] Now that I look closer, the only real difference between Quickswitch and Brainstorm (other than the assumed paint apps) is the head. The rifles used by Quickswitch are just the ones on the back of Brainstorm. Hrm...How do they get 5 alt modes out of that?

Not necessarily. I remember these being teased quite some time ago. It's probably all on MMC's usual development and release habits.
Which means about a year to a year and a half on the scientist line and 2 to 3 years on Overlord.

Waiting almost Three years for Hexatron was bad enough. Waiting another Three years for Carnifex will sad.
If MMC,Is going to take over Two years to release each figure,Then can they try to work with the fan by creating some type of poll. Where fans get to decide which figures need to get done first & which should get bumped last. While arcee, quickswitch & brainstorm are nice MMC designs. I'm pretty sure if fans had a choice,They would want MMC to release Carnifex first before the others.
I still can't believe MMC has upped, the release paces on the Ferocicons by releasing the rest 2-4 weeks apart from each other. With MMC recent pace,It's just hard to believe they can release all the Ferocicons before Feburary 2014 ends.

I believe MMC confirmed that they will be releasing Arcee and the others still. Even with Hasbro's announcement there seems to be enough interest for it to go ahead.Agamemnon wrote:I'm still surprised that this is a surprise to anybody. MMC has pretty well established how they do things. And, besides, they did get fan feedback on the Arcee mold. Perhaps this might change given Has/Tak's announcement on Arcee in the upcoming line, but it is pretty far down the design process, with a lot of money already sunk into the product. (Personally, I hope they continue with that line. I'd like to see them.)
