I don't know...This may be true to some comic version of Impactor, and I do like the bot mode. But, that alt mode just doesn't appeal to me. It almost feels like it fits better in the HoS line than Reformatted, despite not being based off of a Civil War era vehicle. Just something about it...

I gotta say that I do not like this altmode for Impactor. Despite it being smaller, I think I'll stick with the other one that's coming out.

Going off a comment from the AA FB page . Spartan will be a head taller than Gen Springer and the drill will swap out with a harpoon .

As much as i liked the X2T offering the size killed it for me .
But with this apparently being taller than Springer i'm sold on this. The robot mode is appealing even though the alt mode is underwhelming , but i would sooner buy the bigger robot instead of a smaller robot and a better alt mode .

Like the Eight inch Ultra scale and the sculpt in both modes.
Need a strong connection to a TF character in order to spend 3rd party prices on it. Simply liking the design, scale and sculpts is not enough for me. Didn't read that many Marvel TF G-1 UK comics and I stopped reading IDW TF comics almost Three years ago.
I'm not going to lie, If Hasbro USA released this exact toy for $25 to $30, I'd have no problem buying it. As It would cost Three to Five times less than 3rd party prices.

I would've preferred this be between Defender's height to Gen Springer's height. I don't think Impactor is suppose to be bigger than Springer.

I essentially agree. Looking at it, I think it's the cannon base jutting/extending vertically from the top that makes the alt mode seem awkward. If the cannon apparatus were set lower and towards the back of the vehicle, I think the alt mode would be a home run.
Sigh. Hopefully this is still in development. Overall I do like it better than the smaller deluxe one, and it's not like it's actually coming out anytime soon.
