Why is it that everybody who displays one of these prototypes is scared to transform it ? Is it that hard ? Delicate ?

I know I'm getting it but I'll get excited when he's in final colors. The heads looks a little more in scale and size accurate with the body than I remember it being. That's a big plus to me. Seems to bring the entire figure together better.

So what's going on with Hexatron's swords? These are the original swords. What happened to the broadswords that appeared in the promotional artwork for Prominion? I liked them.

A ninja robot carrying broadswords would derail his theme of, ya know, being a ninja. Ninja robots in itself is silly enough. What he's got fits his character better IMO.

I wouldn't have said that they were uncharacteristically ninja in design, but they looked more imposing given Hexatrons size.

As a prototype, they may not have the instructions on how to transform it. I can not wait to see the full range of the figure (and in full color), but as of now it does look like a must buy for me.

Seeing it tower next to the already too tall Hegemon, I think it might be just to large for my collection. I'll still preorder it if the price is right. That said, does anyone know what the price is going to be?

I don't think Hex will see release until November-ish if I recall right. So that would mean preorders may start near the end of August or by mid-september.

I don't know, for a masterpiece-sized and priced figure, more paint apps would be nice. Looks pretty plain.

maybe a few little touches here and there, but it looks pretty awesome as is. I'd buy it for a varying amount of money, but probably not as much as they'll ask for it, like it is in that pic. Stick some well thought out, and not overwhelming paint apps and I'd go a little higher, price wise. The size makes sense, and it does look like a near perfect update of the G1 toy. MMC has tweeted that Hexatron's release date is February 2014, still a ways to go.

Ol' Hexy does seem to be taking forever, but I've already mortgaged my future on so many pre-orders, I'm kind of glad for it. That said, this is really the only 3rd party toy I am drooling over (aside from maybe the headmasters), I just hope I can afford it after all the MP's and Fort Max stomp the green from my wallet.
