I know what you mean, here. I've got a few pieces of wood set down in front of my Classics display shelves for the really big guys. Titan-Metroplex, YOTS Omega Supreme, Devastator and Superion, eventually MMC's Predaking will join them there.

Right now, Bovis is sitting on top of my shelves, where my gigantic display figures are. The rest of the Feral Cons will join him in time. After that, I need to restructure my displays. Once the BH line ends, I'll probably relocate all the Prime stuff off the top "main" shelf into storage.

Anybody get a notification on Fortis? MMC was supposed to release him last Friday. That's still the date on their site too...

MMC are getting smashed on their Facebook page regarding Bovis, a problem with the elbow gears being stripped or similar, but despite a few replacements being produced and sent out, MMC are now suggesting that the continued problems be remedied by the buyer using a lube!

I hope everyone from this fansite who have bought into MMC products get the best from them, as paying their high prices, much like TFC Toys, when an expensive product goes from straight from the package, being told to more or less fix it yourselves is not good business?

3rd party companies should step up if their expensive product goes wrong, replacing the parts as necessary.

I was looking forward to MMCs take on Arcee, but if she ever gets a release, should she break a leg or worse, I would hope MMC do the right thing by their fanbase and replace what is needed, not fob them off with a touch of lube!

They already (weeks ago) offered to replace the entire arm assembly for free. All you have to do is email them.

I didnt know about this since Bovis is still in my pile of loot. It's a good thing I bought some vaseline to fix Heavy Labor. Ill guess Ill be using it on Bovis too. I didnt have to use any lube on Uranus though.

I've been looking for a water based lubricant - someone pointed me to glycerin. But you're saying regular vaseline will work?

Apparently MMC ran out of replacement elbows for Bovis. What I think they should do is outright adjust the mold and include the part with a subsequent release, like TFC does. For what it's worth, though, my Bovis has a stripped elbow and it doesn't seem to be too much of a problem.

That's essentially what they said - the problem is primarily aesthetic, not functional. But still...

I got Heavy Labor plus the extra set of fixed hips at the same time so I opened them both up to see what the fix was. It appeared to be vaseline smeared on the gears and nothing else so thats what I did. It seems to be fine, but Ive had Herc combined ever since and dont mess with him too much.

Yep...There really isn't anything wrong, functionally. My gears look a little scarred, but you have to get really close. Besides, I have a feeling I'll be displaying this in such a way that the elbows will never be seen.

Yep...There really isn't anything wrong, functionally. My gears look a little scarred, but you have to get really close. Besides, I have a feeling I'll be displaying this in such a way that the elbows will never be seen.

With the added articulation that these 3rd party Predaking toys have. I think it might be possible to have combiner beast modes. it can't be too hard to put these Predakings on all Fours,flip up the beast head & adjust a few bits. to create a huge combiner beat mode.
In those youtube videos i've been watching,MMC's Razorclaw even have bending backward & forward knee joints.

Interesting idea. I'll have to try it out when I get all of them.

so, the updated release schedule a few pages back said Fortis nov. 15. it's 27 now, what's keeping him?

I think there was a small unannounced delay and they just sent them out to the stores a week ago or so. They've removed the user posts from their facebook page, which makes me raise an eyebrow.
