The confusing bit is that it seems to only be affecting one arm. It is possible one of the teeth in the right forearm is causing the issue, but again, we're looking into it and should have a conclusion within a day or so.
Regarding Fortis, it is too far along at this point to make any more revisions, so this issue may replicate itself there. Although thankfully it does seem to be more of a minor cosmetic issue than a functional issue. Again, please remain calm, we ARE looking into it and not simply writing it off.

Okay, here's the final solution, and it seem like the original assessment that it's a minor cosmetic issue over a functional one seems to be the case. We tested a couple of figures, and while the original test shots didn't show the issue, the final version has this minor complaint. We put the elbow joint through a very repetitive stress test, and aside from that initial rubbing, the issue does not continue to worsen and the joint still remains as functional as the non-damaged one. The factory has offered the solution that a water-based lubricant could resolve the issue if applied immediately, and a simple cleaning of the ridges should clear up any cosmetic issue if it becomes a problem.
While we won't be implementing a large scale replacement effort on this piece, if it IS something you simply can't abide, you can contact customercare@mastermind-creations.com for replacement parts. Please bear in mind that this will simply involve sending a duplicate part, so the issue could replicate itself again even after this.
The knives are fine. They will form the combined sword as-is, there is no need to worry there.
Regarding the "replacement part" coming with Fortis, this is a replacement for the "butt" assembly. There have been minor reports of cracking there due to the screw wall being too thin, so a replacement for that piece will be included with Fortis.
We do apologize for the inconvenience the issue has caused. We know there is an expectation for your long-awaited figures to be as perfect as possible, it is something we strive for ourselves when we produce them and part of the reason we hold them back. Thankfully this is a minor cosmetic problem and not something that affects the playability of the toy or compromises the structural integrity of the combiner as whole. Rest assured that the combiner joints will be as strong and solid as it is physically possible to make them.
