just got mine this morning i haven't had time to play around and pose , he's a big fella alright and the size of that foot is crazy , one tiny gripe though my blades are silver i assumed the were a faded gold colour.

it must have been the light there a very faint gold tint .

yeah the movement is a bit of a pain i was ready to sit back and wait for the next 2 to arrive.

I had similar problems with TFC's Dr. Crank connectors. I just needed some extra torque/leverage. If you have a small butter knife or blunt letter opener, that should do the trick. You'll be thankful it's so tight when Rex maintains some crazy poses (I hope).

I've been using a flathead screwdriver and other blunt objects. Once it's out, I can move it a couple notches, as I said, but I still need the screwdriver to move it to the top and bottom.

This figure is Fn awesome and i haven't even transformed him yet , i love the height the bulkiness a good range off movement in the arm and legs face sculpt is great and the paint apps are spot on and he carry's a nice bit of wait i'm well happy with this figure .

I must have missed the part were you get the foot and a fist i was surprised and his weapons are excellent.

I'll add my 2 cents here too. My connector was very rigid. However, as has been mentioned, I fully expect this to be a huge plus for the fully combined Feral Rex. Think of all that weight that will be on these connectors.

Oh, and I understand MMC wanting people to have some time to play with Bovis, but...

I have no problems with the connector. It moves, for me, as it should.

And yes. Bring out the rest of the Predacons!

I think MMC changed the order and release dates again. A few weeks ago, it had Leo Dux listed as releasing Oct. 30, now he's listed as Dec. 20th. Talon was listed as Dec.15th, now he's Jan. 15th. IIRC, Fortis actually moved UP from Nov. 30th to Nov. 15th.

Yes. It was mentioned earlier in this thread. I believe they are tweaking Leo Dux to make the overall Feral Rex look better.

Also the preorder discount for Leo Dux has been extended to November 1, if that hasn't been mentioned yet. What I've heard is that they want to allow people time to experience Bovis before they bite the bullet on the rest.

In his review, Peaugh mentioned that after doing test shots, they decided to tweak Leo Dux a bit more, and tighten him slightly for final production. That's why they switched him and Fortis, who is basically worked out.

Does my heart good that they're putting so much effort into these. I received Bovis on Tuesday, and I couldn't be happier. He is so heavy, sturdy, and badass.

Well, here's Peaugh's vid highlighting all the differences between the painted test shot of Bovis that he received and the final version. The changes range from small paint differences to a modified head sculpt. These are presumably the kinds of changes they're making to Leo Dux.

I mean seriously, there's no such thing as perfection. Bovis is... insanely awesome. Great, fantastic even. I bet their Razorclaw and the rest are around that level, too.

Anyone know what MMC said about the ratchet grinding problem in one of the shoulders on Bovis? Last I heard they were investigating. Any news or replacement parts?

Um...what ratchet? The elbows are ratcheted, but both shoulders appear to be ball joints. I don't feel any ratcheting at all. Movement of the shoulders would seem to preclude a ratchet being used.

I'm surprise no one talked about this here. Someones complaints.

"goddammit, now you guys made me look at mine, AND YES, I too have the same mashed up gear on the RIGHT ARM. So we should take a poll as to see what arm is being affected for everyone. And I literally only transformed him TWICE, to bull, then back to bot. As others have said, it still feels tight but definitely has lost the click positions since the gear is worn down. And I don't see how one can replace the arm easily since these are pins and not screws. So for those who swear by MMC, let's see how they address this cause if this was TFC there will be a bitchfest. Not hating on MMC but I am 100% unbiased towards them so you won't see me gushing like a schoolgirl. They are a 3rd party company like the rest. They're not vulnerable against QC issues. My statement was that this product has only been out for 2 weeks.....it's way too early to judge on quality and durability when half the people haven't gotten theirs yet."
