I saying that I'm sick of the energon combiner repaints they aren't that great to begin with and if you don't own them then your not missing out on much. Bonger great idea about G1 Bruticus, in a Battle Gaia color scheme and maybe they could through in G1 Defensor, in a Guard City color scheme to round out the release.

Serpentor "I am the one born to rule and destined to conquer. Let those who fear me, follow me. Let those who oppose me, die."

Thanks.
Ah, such thoughts are a TF fan's sweet dreams made of. Those would make pheniomenol Botcon or Club Exclusive sets as well. Totally collector oriented and desirable.
I do agree about the enrgon combiners. They really don't do it for me and seem like a step back for the designers. From Devastator to Prdaking we saw huge improvements in combiner design. Since the end of G1, the regular TFs have become steadily better with slicker transformations, more anime accuracy and greater posability. I'm surprised that the improved technology and design have not been transfered over to combiners yet.
However, I have read the rumor that Devastator will be a combiner in the TF movie sequel. Fingers crossed that this will be one slick combining robot that makes Predaking finally look obsolete.

Re: More Images: Universe Swindle And Vortex
It's a toy that if I were still a kid, I'd want just because it's a robot combiner, but I wouldn't "like" it once I actually had it.
So many Transformers I had as a kid still "bugged" me.
I hated Dinobot Slag, for having no elbows.
Jazz, for no knees and BARS going across his legs.
Predaking had a baby sword.
Even in that time where toys couldn't pose too well, their lack of joints was frustrating.
I'm sure that having this as a kid, I'd be frustrated with the kibble, with the barrel hands, the color of the weapons, the... well, just about everything wrong going on in these Energon gestalts.
But hey, if it's still making Hasbro money, then good for them.
I just pray that there's like, some MONUMENTAL plan hiding in the dark corner of some guy's office that includes schematics for some REAL combiners like the world's never seen.
If and when there's ever a new Predaking, it better not be smaller than the original, and it sure better not look just like these... things... but with animals instead of vehicles.
