I see your point, but it can get kicked in the face, feel no pain, be unhindered and continue with waht it is doing as it is not alive so... yeah.

Once he has you the Substitution Jutsu is totally worthless, as he would come with you and beat you into your grave.
Shadowman wrote:Assuming any of the above-mentioned techniques are used, then no, none of that would matter. (Also, Noob's death was caused by Scorpion's Toasty fatality)
Now, as I promised, Sage Mode. As the link I posted explains, "The user's physical strength, speed, stamina, and durability dramatically increase, to the point where they could fall face first into a bed of spikes and receive no injury nor feel pain whatsoever."
Now, seeing as that is highly fatal to MK characters and Sage Mode is unaffected by it, then we now have solid evidence that Naruto can survive attacks that would otherwise kill a Mortal Kombat character. Thank you and good night.
Yes, he was killed by the Toasty but his charred spine was torn out and his skull was smashed.
About sage mode: the link also says -
■If the user draws in too much natural energy in the attempt to initiate Sage Mode, they run the risk of transforming into a toad, then into stone. If the transformation is completed, it cannot be reversed.
■In order to gather enough natural energy to initiate the transformation into Sage Mode, the user must remain perfectly still. Because of that, the user can be an easy target for an opponent.
■Because the user needs to move during combat, the Sage chakra cannot be replenished, which means the user can't stay within this state for extended periods of time.
■After Sage Mode has ended, the user appears to experience exhaustion.
It also says naruto can use his clones to gather energy he has an advantage.
