I don't think the face scales up that well. It looked fine when they redid it (correctly) for Origins.

That new torso is much improved, though. ;)^

It's not, but I don't think they were going for that. It looks like a cross between all designs to give a 40th anniversary look.

I'm glad to have lucked upon an Origin Mosquitor at Amazon.ca for a "normal" price. Then once I bought it, the remaining stock had their price DOUBLE. :shock:

Nice on mosquitor, I've got a Snoutspout, Teila and Zoar waiting for me in America and likely a Leach soon. Prices are way too off the mark here at the mo for them but when/if they drop I want doubles anyway.

Good news for other people wanting masterverse cattra - if they can find her in stores to examine in person, looks like from reviewed copies it might be possible to get her with out tag damage to her Cape.

I may be late to the party on this, but I saw the new Castle Grayskull for the new CG MOTU series at Target. That thing is Huge! The box was bigger than a TF Generations Titan box. And only $100 USD. Of course Im not into the line, but I hope some kids get it and play the heck out of it. Looks totally fun.

Yeah, it's had some very positive reviews and I've come close to buying one myself. It's currently going for $70 on Amazon.

BTW, those MOTUO Royal Guard sets are still showing up at Big Lots, picked up one myself today (they had two).

I do like me some Roboto, but those colors aren't great. I don't have any real attachment to the comic colors so I've been passing on most of those (Trapjaw, Stratos) but I might get this one just because it's Roboto and nothing else. I also like that they painted his heart this time.

Apparently this is wave 12 with Hypno (Sun-Man), Tung Lashor, and Snake Armor Skeletor.

Though Wave 3 just got reissued online, he's still in stock on BBTS (sold out on EE). Timing isn't particularly great.

I'm liking mini comics roboto just because other than megaconstrux he hasnt been done before so I'll pick him up.
I've been avoiding some of the repaints with them being tied to LoP or exclusives -the green Trap jaw just seemed pointless unless they were going to do a green Kronis too. I think I'll be skipping most of the sun man characters when facing £20-25 for figures that were £15-£18 especially when I'm wanting multiples of a fair few figures as is.

looks like the £35 for £18 figures is the norm at comics and cocktails with he preordrrs for wave 12 going up and £37 for mekanek with vehicle.
£30 for masterverse figures (fortunately I can skip revelations sorceress and shadow weaver) and £37 for two bad.
