hes great not as good as optimus but the colors could use some changing his face, part of wings for example be great if he lights up.

wtf are these toys man? i thought michale bay was trying to make this **** real looking, and starscream's and megatron's alt mode don't look like anything you'd find on earth. they look like exaggerated cgi-beeefed up planes/tanks/autos. these are not disguises... ffs these should look like real autos like the alternators line does.

michael bay not even sticking to his UNpopular view of the movie project, wtf are we to expect come july 4?.........

Whoa, whoa, wait a second now.

Starscream's alt mode is realistic, especially in the movie. It isn't his fault how they translate to plastic. The miracle of movie magic can't always be recaptured by plastic, it just doesn't work like that.

That's something more and more people need to realize. Bay worked on the movie, and got it as realistic as he could within the confines of what was given to him. He might've helped design the toys to a certain point, but beyond all designs, no matter how hard Hasbro or anyone else works...you just can't make something do what it cannot do. You can come close, but you won't achieve perfection.

None of us can.

You might not like to see that as a fact, but it's true, and they did the best damned job they could do.

Ouch.

After the cool Leader class Prime, this does not look too good. Mostly it's because of the pink. But a quick custom paint job and it could be cool!

i realy like this things design, its one awsome monstercon, and the way they did him in the books was awsome too.... but its just not megatron. i know ill prbably see him in the movie and think, omg thats badass!! (i hope) but still.... not megs to me. his name is monstercon yup.

They are paying homage to the wrong figure. Megatron is now a silver, blue, and red (debateable because it could be pink) jet of sorts, while Starscream looks like a jet landed ontop of a plane in the same vein as the old Blitzwing toy in alt mode and a mutant mothman in bot mode.

this is the first movie toy ive seen where the robomode is better than the alternate mode. Megatron or not, thats a really average piece of poop. Will kids love it and be all nostalgic over it in 20 years time? I bet not. The real gear toys are going to be way more loved.

The light colors kill it even more. If they'd forgone the blue, used a deeper red, and made him predominately dark-gray he couldd still have been menacing.

As is he looks like something that should be in Happy Locust's signature.

I commend the designers for producing something of that quality, bearing in mind what they had to work with. But OMG!!! That is one of the worst tf's I have ever seen!

The Deluxe version looks better (and I say that about Prime as well).

What the hell is that!? They think that is Megatron? I can accept a completely different interpretation of Megs but this is just :SICK:

I will have absolutely no problem passing that figure up. I guess my movie cons will be without a leader.

Fugly! is what that is. I wouldn't get this figure if some one gave it to me. I would probably burn it. Then go cuddle up with my MP5 Megs, suck my thumb and tell myself its all going to be OK.
