Also, you were 12 at the time of the first TF movie?
I was young too at that time... Ah, to be 31 again...
The MPM is great quality too. I plan to talk more about him tomorrow, but so far I have very little to complain about. He's really good quality. And heavy too. Lots of die cast in him.
And yep, 12 when the movie came out. That was my door in
Ironhidensh wrote:That said, from a certified hater, that figure does look gorgeous. I don't know how the quality holds up on it (the larger MPMs have a **** track record), in the looks department, they knocked it straight out of the park.

Well, why does the alien vehicle mode need to be a disguise? Or have a cockpit?-Kanrabat- wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Yeah, well, by the conceits of movieverse design that VHS is supposed to be how he sees, so... At least it's accurate.
Bayverse (and Prime's) Megatron simply doesn't give a single fok about disguising and hiding. I like that because it just show that Megatron is one powerful (and overconfident) MOFO.

The alien vehicles (at least in the Bayverse) are NOT disguises. They serve a function that the bot mode cannot do meaning flying or burly ground combat. As for the "cockpits" they are merely decorative. I don't remember any Bayverse alien vehicles have cockpits appart from non-transforming vehicles meant to be piloted.
Only on Earth where disguising themselves in altmode is important... unless you are a powerfulwho just don't care.

One for each year of the Movieverse's decade strong tenure. Here's to a few more explosive years!

I always thought this was one of the most imposing Megatron's designs.
Are joints in the arms strong enough to hold other toys?I'm asking because since he is meant to hold Jazz,I'm wondering who else he can lift with his BARE HANDS!

Im hoping a Studio Series release using similar engineering is in the works

I imagine it would not be difficult. his jet cannon unfolds from his chest, his arms rotate up and collapse into the chest space, and his legs are the MP version of CW Offroad/Aerialbots.SGMLordMirage wrote:Besides the consensus on the fluffy pillows.![]()
