To add to what Ra88 said, it looks like Prime?s back also becomes the trailer hitch, while the upper legs become the back wheels and the lower legs appear to also be part of the nose of the cab along with the arms.Ra88 wrote:Wait, so none of you guys can't figure out the transformation? Seriously though, the arms are the front of the cab (his shoulders are the wheel casing and his lower arms are the red part of the nose, you can even see part of the headlightsection), his chest is made from the main part of the cab (he still has the same windshield look but now has part of the doors covering them with the mirrors above the doors, oh and don't forget the smokestacks on his back!), and it looks like his legs are completely made of the sleepercab of the truck and the back, much like G1 Prime (with a LOT more folding).
Sure, it's complicated, but no more then the transformations of Alt. Smokescreen and Skids thrown together.I think it's also very easy to make a toy out of it, with the only real problems possibly being the lower legs.

Yeah, the feet confuse me. They don't seem to be the grill, though. And if they are, he probably has a GF First Aid-esque transformation.

I think the grill ends up being somewhere under the feet.

I dunno, something about that Megatron just screams "I can't move my arms!". Maybe it's the whole blockyness of it, and it's also rather ugly. I want a G1 esque Megatron, but that's just t?? close, and kinda hurts it IMO.

I have no Idea why they are coloring him the way they are. Only thing I changed other than colors was I raised the eyes so he doesn't look quite so fugly.

I think, realistically, Megatron may look alien, yes, but if you were an alien from a mechanical planet, you'd probably be more prone to having less curves and roundness to your body. On earth here, we are made of 95% water, so those molecules would be round, but is that the same for metal? There would be a completely different set of laws of nature and pshysics, and TF is a science fiction sort of thing, so i think they should really play up the science part. And at least he should have some big guns and weapons on his body somewhere. I mean, an alien war machine should have a weapon attached. I saw the pic of prime's arm cannon, and thats cool with me, but the military hardware faction should be armed to the teeth!
I'm not complaining, because i bet the movie itself will kick ass, even if the designs aren't what most of us pictured. They may not be what i had in mind but, the fact is, they didn't ask me to help make it. So i think Bay and co. will do a fantastic job, and if it stinks, mabey someone will try again in about ten years. And besides, i wouldn't want what happened to The Vampire Chronicles movies happen to Transformers(you know, Anne Rice protested Tom Cruise being Lestat, and it turned out to be F***in awesome, and he never returned to do another film, and the second movie was rubbish). Let's hope the movie does well and they can go and improve on the second movie, that is if this one isn't as great as it should be. Not to sound like a hippie, but let's just give all of our positive thoughts to the way of the movie, cause it's hard to make art if people are constantly firing crap at you.
