*finally gets the track to play*

Y'know... I actually kinda like it. I don't care for the name rollcall at around 0:58, though, but otherwise it's great.

Maybe we will get an orchestral score along the lines of the one we heard in the Armada PS2 game? That would rock.

I like the Goo Goo Dolls and the theme song and that its. The rest of its is crap. To much head banging ****. Put in classic rock and 80's band when they first came out that would be awsome

To much head banging ****. I like the Goo Goo Dolls and the theme is not bad. BUt the need to get rid of the rap crap and the head banging crap. Put in CLASSIC ROCK AND 80'S MUSCIC. FOR EXAMPLE GENESIS-LAND OF CONFUSION AND LED ZEPPLIN, QUEEN bands like that need to be in it.

Where's the "head banging" stuff? Linkin Park? Disturbed? Those guys are nothing but watered-down Americanized pop-metal. Go to labels like Nuclear Blast and Century Media, and you'll see what I am talking about. Now THAT'S metal!

Aside from that, there are tons of good artists out there, but since this is a major studio release, you are only going to get the Sony/WEA bands, and it's apparent they want to keep it safe with "bands you know".

I grew up on classic rock, and I think it's overplayed. Someone needs to put a nail in the coffin. Scour MySpace for some decent newcomers or lesser-exposed bands, for God's sake. They are out there.

I personally feel that for this film, they should have gone the Matrix/Mortal Kombat route of mixing electronic/industrial music with an orchestral score.

HA! I had the speakers turned up loud at work when it started. I couldn't get my mouse to move quick enough to get to the volume control.

I would've liked some classic rock in there as well. Y'know, a good mixture of stuff. Of course, I never thought it would actually happen due to the marketing direction of the movie and such, and it hasn't.

Yeah... as soon as they started singing I immediately wanted to barf. It doesn't even sound like Linkin Park because at least they have semi-good lyrics.

As for the potential soundtrack... ROCK ON. These are my kinda tunes. I know it's not to everyone's taste... but hey, I'm happy, and I'm sure my concert addict little brother will freak out over this.

9 "End Of The World" Armor For Sleep
10 "Retina And The Sky" Idiot Pilot
11 "Technical Difficulties" Julien - K
12 "Transformers Theme" Mutemath

For nostalgic purposes, I wouldn't have minded a "The touch" remake...Kinda like how they did "In the air tonight" in the Miami Vice movie. Oh well...

It needs some Rap.. cause the Heavy metal or pop metal was big in the eighties.. now it's Linkin park styled stuff now.

Shrug

Sounds like a typical end credits rolling kind of fare. At least the traditional riff is still intact.

If it were up to me, as soon as that song finished, they'ed play the outro music from the 1st and 2nd season of the G1 cartoon, followed by the old movie theme. (I mean, hardly anyone would be left in the theatre save the folks paid to clean it at that point, why not just go ahead and end on a geek note)

I strongly agree with you on this. It would be a great treat for the hard core fan group if they did this.
