As for the potential soundtrack... ROCK ON. These are my kinda tunes. I know it's not to everyone's taste... but hey, I'm happy, and I'm sure my concert addict little brother will freak out over this.

Like I said, it's Mutemath, not Linkin park

Smashing Pumpkins... interesting.
Still cant see anything standout on the album, although I'm sure having an emo band like Linkin Park and a pop group like the Goo Goo Dolls certainly wont hurt.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

A lot better than the Goo Goo Dolls song.
I'm kinda mixed about it, though. At least it has the theme worked into it.

The song is o.k, but still can't beat one of the greats:

I see they decided to adapt off of the Transformers: Cybertron method of listing the names and the "More than meets the eye" is exactly the same.

Stupid.

I thought after I played it that nothing could suck more than that. But I was wrong. I played it again--and it sucked even more the second time I played it. Imagine how much it would suck if I played it a third time...

It sucked so bad Kevin Federline will probably want to do a remake of it in the near future...

I still think the Lion version of the theme is way better from the old movie. That was rockin!

This new one's kinda lame. I guess if anything positive to say... at least it didn't start out all cliche with a "YO YO!!! JA RULE IN THE HOUSE! TRANSFORMERS, MUTHA F&**A!"

That would just be terrible.

If thats the line up I can tell you without a doubt this album is not for me.

And just to silence the bashers, who say I'm closed minded, in my collection of actual CDs and not downloads, I have everything from E-Town Concrete, to Ray Conte, to Kaja Nin, and everything that should fit in between.

If you don't know who they are, find out then reply!

But back on track, this soundtrack sucks, which is normaly the sign of a good film, so realy this is good news!?!

Yeah, I felt it could have been better. When I saw that Mute Math was doing the theme, I have to say I was excited, because I have listened to their songs and they are totally awesome. But after listing to that awfulness, I have to ask why would Mute Math do something like that? Because that didn't sound anything like Mute Math normally does. That whole "rapping" part was totally out of character for them too. If anything it sounded more like Linkin Park like some of you have noticed.

Well' now I know I won't waste one cent on that pile of dung they call a soundtrack. I mean, one good band, Disturbed.
The rest is either emo crap, or washed up 90's alternacrap. Come on, Smashing Pumpkins, I thought they died in the late 90's. Ugh, I was so hoping they we're the last turd that would've stayed flushed. Oh well, money saved for the toys, I suppose.

decepticonjon wrote:that was painful. :-x
whoever mutemath is.. they should be drug out in the street and shot.

:APPLAUSE: QFT, my man. I've been crankin' Morbid Angel since I played the pile of waste, just so my computer speakers don't explode in protest to being subjected to that kind of suckitude.

This s**t totally blows!!!! The Pumpkins, yeah, but i'll have to hear that one first. The rest of these bands, i don't even know who the f**k they are. I can't believe anyone involved in this movie thought any of that crap was good(oh, well mabey i can see how THEY thought it was good). People are so stupid. I can't believe anyone would think this would sell. They should have gone with 100% electronic stuff. It's more realistc. You don't actually think they have string instruments on Cybertron, do you? Linkin Park Mega Blows, and the 7th rate Linkin Park Giga Blows to the 200th power!!!

It was good, until the singing started.

Hell, Jazz got off LUCKY. Maybe he got a hold of the soundtrack early, listened to it, got bad vibes, deleted his name from the track and then gave us this version. Wouldn't blame him. >_>

I'm getting the soundtrack because I'm both a CD collector and a TF collector, but odds are it's getting listened to all of once, if even that. Hell, only band on there I like are the Pumpkins, and I believe that track's going to be on their new album anyway.

I was hoping the soundtrack would be something that I could enjoy like the original movie sountrack. The original soundtrack got me into heavy metal & it's still one of my favorite CD's of all time. There's nothing on this new soundtrack for me. Not one friggin song. I had a feeling it was gonna suck when they first announced Goo Goo Dolls.

Man, what an awful piece of dreck that song was. And, I can't say that the actual soundtrack looks promising. I'm not into any of the bands on it. Well, at least they won't have to worry about people pirating it online...who the hell would want it even if it was free (besides the 3-4 of you who said you liked it).

This song by Mutemath is as if some promo guys sat down and said "what are the kids into nowadays...I know, LINKIN PARK! Hey, Mutemath...you can try to sound like them, right? Play the transformers theme, but Linkin Park it up. The kiddies will love it!"
