The film was as much comedy as it was action. Lots of one-liners and comical situations. If you're referring to Scott's Hispanic friend, he was in it about as much as an average supporting character is, and every time he dropped some smartalecky remark. I found it humorous. Scott and even Hank Pym himself have a few good laughs at each others' expenses, it was enjoyable. I really liked the effects, especially whenever he shrunk and was in a giant world. Reminded me of an old TV show called Land of the Giants. I was also surprised at how much Hank Pym was in the film, it seemed like he was the main character instead of Scott Lang. Michael Douglas did really well. There are 2 scenes after the film is over, 1 mid-credits scene involving Pym, and 1 after the entire credits roll, showing a scene from Captain America: Civil War.Madeus Prime wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:I just saw Ant-Man. One question, is the annoying comic relief character in it as much as I suspect he'll be?
Anyone ever tell you that you resemble Eddie Redmayne in that film?Madeus Prime wrote:I got The Theory of Everything in the mail today, going to try to watch it today, really excited to see it.

I Netflixed Knights of Badassdom last night. It was silly, a good silly. Summer Glau actually played a human with emotions. That was weird.

And this is the reviews and suggestions thread. I reviewed and suggested Ant-Man.Burn wrote:We have a thread for Marvel movies you gits.
I watched that entire series in 1 weekend about 2 months ago. Loved it. I never thought I'd cheer for a drunken douche. And Lana?I've been watching Archer because I felt really bad that I wasn't watching Archer. Got up to about episode 4 in season 3
Stuartmaximus wrote:I must be an git too! coz I've just watched Ant Man....really good film it is too! The one disappointment......is no proper videogame tie in! YES you've got those recent Marvel games for Android that INCLUDES ant man in them, but no proper game for the major consoles.

I still have a PS3 and I was looking forward to playing the Mad Max game, and it comes out on PS4 only.Stuartmaximus wrote:Burn wrote:I also feel my PS3 will be coming to the end of it's life soon

Same with Fallout 4 & Arkham Knight! + Not everyone can afford a PS4 & the price of the new games(£50)
+ I'm still a bit miffed that the PS4 isn't backwards compatible with PS3 games! means your existing back catalogue of PS3 games are obsolete(unless your keeping your PS3 & also getting a PS4).

Please tell me you didn't seriously think Fallout 4 would be available on PS3...

What I come to expect from JJ Abrams is crap on a stick. Seriously nothing he's directed has ever been good.
