well i will be a non-working version of course whatever the gadget it will become..... i have this that,s intersting as well a multi-fonction cell phone ....

if you have pics of any kind of devices please feel free to post them here....

as well i will have new pics tomorrow of megatron,s progress that is a bit slow (damn holidays) but still progressing... i,ve change the side leg plates that will be thicker and have a new function.....

Always figured Soundwave'd be the PDA/cell portable comm type device and the cassettes being plug-in modules/cards or so..

or. he could be the silencer on the gun, so hes wiht megs in gun mode, and when he transforms, he disconnects from megs and goes into bird mode

that,s one possibility that i tough of but it would be very hard to do.... anyway i have a pic of the current progress of megatron.... almost fully painted ..still have to make the extension and make a silencer and the external side rear plates... but it,s coming along nicely.... so do i keep the inner legs red ? also note that i have reworked the eyes and the face is a different silver...

Keep the inner legs red. It's just Megs that way.

Your progress has been fun to watch. I think that's the best face yet. The latest paint app has really brought it out. I do hope the seam on the lower legs there gets a little more cleaned up. Beyond that, it's a great job so far.

after seening it painted I think that it could use some detailing to add texture and scale. On most TF these days there is some kind molding on each surface. I know its late in the process to rework but perhaps a similar effect could be done in paint or stencil. I belive megs had a spiral pattern across his chest and some grip marks on his legs. As far as cartoon looks go it is very close. They never draw all that detail anyway. It looks so much like the cartoon that it would be interesting to see what it would look like in the off-white cartoon colours.

theres still allot of work to do on it... detailling is one of thoses thing so there will still be changes coming and allot more suprises also !!!

that is spectacular! but werent the sides of megatron's legs black in the cartoon, and the front grey? idk.......other than that, this is the best kitbash/ scratchbuild i've ever seen!! *Mega-Mega-Megatron*

i have to say i had my doubts about this project at the start but it has turned out very impressive, well done and congratulations , when can we see the transformation pictures?

Its beautiful but I would like to see what becomes of the leg halfs. The fully painted pics on your site look so clean and the face is perfect now. Very good job.

i,m happy that it lives up to your expectations !!!

as for the outer half of the legs, they shoud be making the extension of the hand grip but i have a concept problem that may only be solved when of if i build retail versions of it....

there is still work to do but i,ll get there....

also for thoses who uses lego binanicles i have something WAY BETTER THEN THAT it,s lego knights kingdom.... the joints actually have incredible systems that allow you to pose the arms and legs as you wish and will stay that way(clicking system) !!! the reason i say this is because my megatron uses bianicle system wich has free moving joints and i have to modify it extensively to have great posability....

tought you would like to know about this !!!

I gotta keep that in mind. I want to modify my old Powemaster Prime to have better articulation, but I'm gonna need ratcheting joints, if I want the alt mode to stay together.
