FansProject have updated their webiste, http://www.fansproject.com , stating that their long awaited homages to G1 Combaticons Swindle and Blast Off, will FINALLY ship in the first week of August. The delay is attributed to two components that were not compatible with all versions of the Maximus Bruticus figure sets that they were, of course, created to supplement.

Dear Customers and Friends,
FansProject will start shipping out both Explorer & Munitioner in the first week of August.
We find out from the final QC check that two pieces will not perfectly fit all versions when combine into giant robot mode. To keep our level of quality, we had remold and replaces that two pieces for the whole shipment.
We are deeply sorry for the delay and Thank you for your patient!

It's too bad about the constant delays on this. But it's a third party company we're dealing with. Just gotta grin and bear it.

No, I'd say we should have these in our laps in mid-end of August. I'm just glad they found their own QC problem, acknowledged it, and fixed it. Shows a lot about them and why they set the bar for third party companies.

Mario from Automaton Toys said he will receive his shipment of corrected figures next week, meaning his store will more than likely be the very first store to offer the figures in North America. Still a few sets available apparently.

I'll be picking these up just as soon as I figure out how to remove my own kidney..

Exp and Muni are not the problem here..

Those of us who lazily passed on the ROTF bruticus because well...It was stupid looking..Are now either searching frantically or dropping close to $100 on 1...

FP sure knows how to stir a frenzy...

Hey, I love the look of Super Link/Energon/RotF Bruticus Maximus!

However, I do look forward to upgrading Bruticus Maximus with FP's add ons.

My local Zellers are loaded with ROTF Bruticus. I'm actually waiting for s clearance before I pick my up haha! Not too many TF collectors around here!

Unfortunately, my local Zellers sold out of their inventory of RotF Bruticus Maximus sets a long time ago but if I'll check again to see if they may have restocked their shelves. They will have old stock available from time to time. They had some Leader Megatron figures from the 07 movie up on the shelves a few months ago so maybe they'll have more Bruticus Maximus figures.

I'm going back home next weekend, and there's tons of Zellers around there, I'll take a look and see what kind of prices I can get them to you for!

well thanks again guys, esp for just looking for me, as you may or may not know the UK didn't get these guys and internet prices are pretty ridiculous these days

One of the main reasons I'm still a Transformers fan is that I've seen time and again how great the global TF fan community can be and how supportive we can be at times. I've been helped before with sought after TF figures so I hope I can return the favour.
