I hope hothead is not too far behind these guys because I want to ship them at the same time.

DIA Commander, Ultra Magnus, and Springer all await they're future foe...wow that was really nerdy.

My ROTF Bruticus await their upgrades and new team members.

Said first week is nearing it's end, and both my anticipation and impatience becomes ever more acute. These things missed being birthday presents... twice!

I wonder if BBTS, TFsource, and any other stores that'll carry this have gotten notice that their shipments are on the way yet?

If they have, they'll keep it quiet so people don't start bombarding them with questions.

I have no doubt that people have asked them when they're due in, and what time, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone asked them for the tracking number to the shipment at some point.

I've heard some horror stories about collectors.

Despite the differences we've had, i've never once regarded you as one of those "true fanboys". You've always "kept it real" so to speak.

Wow, I really wonder what the problems are. These guys are basically approaching Marvel Ultimates waiting time. I hope that FP is just taking their time for through quality control inspections, and is not something along the lines of redesigning parts at the post 11th hour.

It's a mix of both.

During the QC of the initial figures, they realized that the parts are not one size fits all, most likely due to the Energon molds degradation from over usage by Hasbro and TakaraTomy, and did a slight redesign to make it work better for everyone involved.

But they'll be here at the end of August.

Seriously? That is horrible news. I just got universe hardhead and he is patiently waiting for his headmaster. Munitioner and Explorer will tide me over for a while.

Yeah, there was a guy across from Seibertron's table that had a prototype set up with Hardhead in a glass case, and on several occasions I heard him say it would be out in December. We haven't even seen full color pics of the set yet, so to have it shipped by the end of the month is a bit too much to ask for, unfortunately.

I'm not sure. Maybe the QC problem they had was a little bit bigger than they led on.


Ps. I think we should all petition and email FP asking them to make a size/IDW accurate Roadbuster. After there next three confirmed projects of course. But, I would absolutely love that!

That doesn't bug me too much. Headrobot's is still a fairly "young" company. They have a vary good idea here with a seemingly large demand. So hopefully, they do it right.

No. We had a Universe Roadbuster that received 3rd party add-ons made for it, so I don't think FP would be too bothered with that character. I know an oversized Roadbuster would be nice to have, but given the nature of scale within the TF lines I honestly don't care any more. That said though, I'm not very keen on their 'Broadside' project given the hideous problem with said character's existence. I do want to see them carry on with their triple-changers though, like say Blitzwing and Sandstorm.

In regards to Headrobot's delays over the Hothead thing... I've been teetering for a long time on whether or not to bother with it. I still have a Universe Hardhead in his box which I've been waiting to figure out whether or not I want to sell it since the nature of his repainted-ness touches a specific nerve with me. So the longer I have to wait, the better I guess.

As for the crossfire sets? I've already stated I'm rather impatient about the delays on those guys, but for the QC checks they're going through... all I can say is that they better be worth 2 times the value for missing the 'awesomest birthday present' mark twice. I dunno about my brother, but that's something I'm personally not letting go otherwise.

Yeah, I know hasbro released a scout size deluxe repaint that was supposed to be Roadbuster. And the add on wasn't half bad. The head looked good but it had horrable QC problems. I'd love to have the FP engineers shell out a voyager/supreme class one. Matter of fact, I wouldn't mind seeing them put out the whole team of Wreckers to go alongside Defender and whatever they call Broadside. Even the Marvel guys like Guzzle. Obviously skipping Kup since Hasbro is soon to release him.

All I know is for what I'm bidding for a Bruticus set on ebay, Exp and Muni ha dbetter rock my socks..The prices are RIDUNKULOUS..One guy is selling 1 for $185 bucks and $35.00 shipping.....Gimmer a friggin break...
