I'm not sure, the can say Tamiya for plastics. I know it has acetone in it which helps the paint bond to the plastic at a molecular level. I let the sprays cure for one day between coats and then one week to set after the final coat. It's tough as nails.Kingplay wrote:Wingsbr wrote:Tamiya Acrylics and sprays all the way. Some plastics will melt with acetone, not all. In fact, I am so sure because acetone comes in ....plastic bottles sometimes! what a miracle.

I'm glad she liked it. I figured for the lady that my soon to be wifey is, she deserves the first custom. I have a few more ideas for her too but right now I'm working on my customs which I'll add in a week or so and yeah I got some pink paint leftover.Deceptiwho? wrote:@ Deceptiwho? - I showed my GF and she said " Oh thats so sweet , how come you never do anything like that for me??" anyways u think I could borrow some of your pink paint

Thank you for the compliment and that is definitely my way of thinking which is why this got the pink 'con treatment. I couldn't think of another set of colors that would have looked better while still keeping it very decepticon but being original at the same time.i_amtrunks wrote:I know that I'll get ripped for it, but Pink is a seriously underused colour in fan customs. When used sparingly (like on your Sledge figures) it's a great "highlight" colour.
Love the job, it looks very
