My First Custom! Optimus Prime Trailer

Postby Optimist_Prime » Tue Apr 10, 2007 9:45 am

This is a simple job to most, but to a newbie I like to think I took my time to get it right. It started off as a Prime G2 trailer and now it's bathing in G1 glory. :-? I can't decide whether to have it be true G1 or anime style, some input would be great.

Nice work. I say toon colors, all the way.
Here's the real question though: If you changed it from G2 to G1, does that mean that you "degenerated" it?

I say 'toon it as well... but only if you've got a decent 'tooned G1/G2 Prime to go with... a good example would be my old G1 Prime, he's been reconstructed with white Magnus pieces where applicable, gundam model hands, side-to-side movable head and a repainted face, as well as a bunch of paint apps where I thought they looked good...

Let's not get too carried away here. I just started doing this, but if you have made such a mod a pic would be extreamly helpful. :D

Something like that would look pretty cool with a 'tooned trailer.

FM, you did an amazing job painting that trailer. It looks like the plastic was cast in that color to begin with! :D
