How many times Transformers was "ruined forever"?

I'm a brony, but even within our "love and tolerate" community, there's a LOT of in-fighting. (Also, "love and tolerate" is not our true motto. It's just a phrase to troll people.)
For example, the Derpy Hooves contreversy, Princess Cadance announcment, Twilight Sparke become an Alicorn, and finally, biggest shitstorm of all, Equestria Girls. There's a shittons of humanised fannart on pony sites since ever. But when Hasbro created an official Humanised spinoff, many bronies lost their **** and were shouting their rage. Not unlike the original Transformers Beast Wars and Bay Movie reactions.

Also, see the reaction toward Star Wars prequels, every new Star Treck series, and so on and so forth.

Yeah, hardcore fans can be stupid and bigots but luckily, they are in the minority (I hope) and they are the ones that make everything so interesting and entertaining.
