Today along some Transformers, I finally got my Nendoroid Gawr Gura! When the
BIGGEST V-TUBER OF ALL TIMES announced her figure, I just had to buy it! She's so popular that I got a second chance at the preorders when Good Smile Company made a second preorder run just some weeks after the first. It took ONE YEAR and 4 days for that preorder to be finalised and land into my hands. Was she worth the long wait? let's find out!
Unboxed and some protective plastic sheets removed, this is what you get. The figure, a spare grabby hand, two extra arms and hands, Bloop, Gura's stand, her tiny pigtails, her trident, her stand, Bloop's stand, and an extra neck part.
Out of the box and assembled, she's just adorable!
Like all Nendoroids, poseability is limited, but at least she does not fall appart at the slightest touch. Bloop's stand is a bit too long, but you can shorten it by removing the long part.
To change her faces, you must remove her hood. To do so, you have to flex and pry the front of the hood under her bangs. Thankfully, her bangs and the front of her hood are flexible. Then, once the hood is removed, you just need to add her pigtails. The final result is just so cute!
As a little extra, I imported this 1:12 miniature couch from the UK.
Why?
So that Gura can have fun with all of her shark friends!
So, overall, was she worth it?
Oh yeah, definitely.
