Does this mean that Perceptor and the Insecticons may be hitting shelves?

I will continue to pretend that G1 Powerglide does not exist, considering the effort I made to get a Powerglide that looks like that... :evil:

I have to have that Fearswoop set! Hooligan was my first Transformer and I can't wait to get a new version of him (my old one is currently "borrowing" an arm from Jetfire #-o

). Wouldn't mind that mini-con set either =P~

EDIT**

I just checked my local Wal-Mart and they had ALL the exclusives plus wave 4! The only thing they didn't have was Long Haul, if this is any indication NOW is the time to check your store because I honestly didn't expect this stuff for another week or so. (I live in TN if that's any indicator to you).

I Copped the 3 ultras and Fearswoop set at Wal-Mart. (Miami 57th ave 1 left of each ultra and like 20 Fearswoops if anybodys interested) Target didnt have anything new yet. Ill save Toys R Us for my day off. Whats the status on the Insecticons and Masterpiece Skywarp ???

For anyone with USA Edition Henkei Powerglide...avoid the Universe release.

It lacks detail, has an off color red, and the gray arms aren't true gray.

Very disappointing...

Is Hoist going to be released as a stand-alone figure, or Just packed with Mixmaster? It'd be a shame if this is the only way to get him. Was really looking forward to this figure, but if he only comes packed with a very ugly Mixmaster, then I'll have to pass. Just too expensive.

Thanks Counterpunch, that makes me feel a bit better about having Frankensteined the two together and painting the chest and eyes. :-)

Why is everybody who mail-ordered a Henkei red Powerglide hating on the Wal-Mart version ??? I admit the Henkei version boasts a few nice details in white and the orange glass goes better than blue. But other than that it is an exact representation of the G1 Powerglide which I happen to own. The white Hasbro Powerglide should have never existed. I dont know what they were thinking, but I commend Hasbro for doing the right thing and putting him out in his proper colors for the USA fans that made Transformers what they are today.

Hopefully they will do the same with deluxe Thrust, Dirge, and Red Alert. Ive said it before and Ill say it again...there is no shortage of plastic or cheap labor in the Asian hemisphere. Shame on the Japanese companies for their greedy high prices... :o)

Wal-mart Red Powerglide is what it is, it gives a chance for us North American fans to get these guys. I don't care what it's like, I'm not spending extra on a Henkei version that is, in my opinion, much of the same, even if it's the predecessor. Hopefully they're in Canada soon.

Picked up TFU 2.0 Skyfall today. I want Powerglide but will probably have to wait till next month. Don't have the $$ now.

They're imports. The price is the result of someone having to import them from another country. Costs cost money. Importing is a cost.

I bought Universe Powerglide today, then took him back. The plastic is this...pink-ish red. You might think that at first, it's really not. Take that figure and put in natural light, you'll see what I mean. The details are lacking, the arms aren't painted, but rather a gray-ish/tan-ish plastic.

Blurrz is right in that, the figure is, what it is. Most people aren't going to have a problem overlooking the flaws, but if you have Henkei Powerglide, save your money on the Universe release. If you're particular about how your Classics look, then consider carefully what you're willing to give in on.

I hate shopping for TFs at Walmart. Most people that work there either won't help me, play dumb, or are rude to me. All I ask is to open a box on a pallet (on top of the pallet - easy!) so I can get Powerglide. I could have just ripped into if I had been so inclined and the cashiers would have sold it to me. However, I really do try to ask nicely. Still I get either a cold shoulder or rudeness.

I did eventually get Powerglide and Skyfall too. But I wish these had been Target exclusives. Target employees are nice, helpful, and better organized with their DPCI system.

In the last 36 hours, I've picked up:

Gathering at the Nemesis
Fury of Fearswoop
Powerglide
Hardhead
Skyfall
Autobot Strike Mission

It's been pretty amazing. Strike Mission and Gathering are both fairly huge boxes, with Strike Mission taller and longer. In Gathering, poor the Fallen is positioned with the nose cone from his jet mode in a very unfortunate way.

Still no sign of either Target exclusive.

As I said in the Toy Haul thread, I'm not sure if I want to go to the effort to get Surface to Air Showdown. The closest CostCo is two hours away, and I'd have to pay a surcharge.

I'm hoping to see Warriors from Three Worlds soon, too.

I was impressed the local Walmart actually had the new stuff in stock on the release weekend! Usually it takes forever to get out here to northern MN.
The Cyberjets were some of my favorites from the G2 era, so it's wonderful to see them remembered, even if licensing has forced Hasbro to use different names. The TFU Silverbolt mold looks wondering in black and red. I wish they'd used a better mold for Fearswoop, but you read the box flavor text and its clear who he's meant to be. I'm amused they gave an actual reason for it being Deluxe/Legends packed together this time.

On the flipside, it took them this long to get Jetfire here. But since I got him on the 30$ mark-down, I don't feel so bad about it now.

I will side with Blurrz on this one!! Can't justify paying more for the Henkei Powerglide when he only has a little bit more paint detail then our Hasbro version. And from what I heard from some BOTCON fans he's pretty acurate.

I'm glad to hear everyone is finding everything (Walmart, Target, and TRU exclusives) everywhere and on Friday i checked 3 local walmarts and this morning i checked another one on the way into work and they finally had wave 5!!! In which, we had wave 6 in longer than wave 5. Not to be off track here, a friend of mine found out from his friend (a walmart employee) that a shipment of wave 5 figures got crushed by a forklift and never made it a local walmart here and now its flooded with Arcee, Swerve and Stalker Scorpy!! Now, back on track none of the 3 stores on Friday had any of the exclusives and the one this morning didn't have the 4 exclusives anywhere!!! but i did notice that they where still putting up stock everywhere and i will check again when i'm off work. Really looking forward to get Hardhead and Skyfall for now and pick up Powerglide and Fearswoop next week. Wish me luck.

PS I have enough funds (until next week) to get 2 Ultra class figures and which ones should I get: Hardhead & Powerglide, PowerGlide & Skyfall, Hardhead & Skyfall??? Fearswoop is exempt until further notice.

Same pinkish-red color and as the original the arms are supposed to be grey. Wal-Mart version is G1 accurate. Everybody who wasted their money on the Henkei version please stop knitpicking and hating. And rumor has it these Henkei "imports" are selling for the same prices on the streets of Japan, making the price not an "import price", just hihghway robbery

Raise your hand if you've had all three figures. Raise your hand if you've actually had all three of them in your hand to make a decision about it.

1. You don't seem to understand import costs.
2. You're just arguing to justify your lower cost purchase. Too bad. There are reasons to like/justify the Universe release. You're just mad about imports. Too bad.

I still use Micron Skyglide for my display when I have the minibots up. Not too keen on the idea that they rang from Legends Brawn, Beachcomber, Warpath and Cosmos to Deluxe Bumblebee and Cliffjumper to Voyager Powerglide.

As cool as the A-10 Thunderbolt is they could've updated him to a Predator reconnaissance drone and kept him in scale. As it stands, I have the first Universe release of the mold and no desire to spend any more money on it.

I am eyeing up that Hardhead for a custom Universe version of Animated Bulkhead, though.
