Yes, it's about tactics. Standard Helicopters, which the Springer alt is from, has a Strafe/Avoid combo. Aerial Rescue Vehicle has Strafe/Repair, which is what I want.

IB: Don't worry about it, you were right. My answer was short cause I was at school. The alt does pop up pretty regularly, and he could just wait for it to come back, but Psyke's alt hunt is all about getting alts you want for characters, be they same or different faction, without the problem of crappy tactic combos, like avoid/repair.

Ok, I'll tell you what - overrepair/kill on any tactic will count as +10 towards your total % until I am shown how to calculate it or it is proven that you did more than 10 in any one overkill action.

Sound fair?

Calculating it is easy. You have to account for all other XP gain (so, every single hit and win bonus if applicable) and when you subtract all that, you divide what's left by the score of the level, and boom. There's your overrepair/kill. It was easy for Slip, cause he didn't have the win bonus, and only had one other attack land. It's simple, it can just be a lot of math/work. Especially in a 1-11 mission, where you might get 4 or 5 hits on people of all kinds of levels. Nevermind if you have a strafer.

Well i figured it to be 66% as shown on the log i'm gonna call it cool on the 10 bonus.
Counting the totals of the 10 logs i saved so far i'm sitting at 281% so i'm still on pace.

Just kidding AZ. I was actually going to say something about you "saving the day again" but thought maybe it's too soon for that joke

And I really did post that without thinking about it for more than a minute. The concerns of PhD apps were weighing more heavily on my mind than the nuances of the Alt Hunt. Silly, silly me.
