has it been announced what stats will effect the new altmode abilities? Like how strength to ram and so on.

ahahaha, this is what i like about being a Bot/Mal, lotsa guys helping ya with questions like these...as for being a Pred/Con however... :P

Well, the cons did figure out all of the formulae for damage, tactic use, and helper stats...

good thing you guys have a good understanding of nested trig functions in triple integrals that allow you figure out which stats affect what.

I call shenanigans. the only way to know those mechanics now is to have been leaked them, and security threats means imminent bannings.

on a side side note, the cons are screwed in V2, i'm not allowed tell anyone anything, and Bun-Bun's bannage means the preds have lost their mathsman.

and it took 2 years of dissolving my brain in alcohol, and 4 years of university party nights to forget nested trig functions and working out volumes under functions you bastard sprokitz. now i'm gonna have to get another degree.

Correct.
There were rules put into place concerning all the "unofficial" subfaction sites. Warnings were given in the forums. Temper tantrums were thrown. A couple of people were banned. That's the bottom line.

Don't worry. Nothing has been leaked as far as I know.

The opposite is true. The Cons are at a huge advantage numerically and strategically. The predacons may be in trouble just from a numeric standpoint but the game is being designed in a way that hopefully a good strategy can overcome numbers (like real war).
