Welcome to what I hope to be the first in the line of many contests and games.

This is an open contest to all, no matter what faction. I have asked for faction rewards of opposing factions (IE Decpticons) be handed out by Named_Violation or a few others. If you don't get your rewards I will figure out some way of getting you your rewards.

Rules:
You have two weeks to complete the following. This is a first come first serve basis with only two real rules. To be crowned the winner of the tournament just complete all of the stages. You don’t even have to win all of the stages.

You may post and save your spot here if you would like to play. The Game will be open from 3/12 through 3/26

Tourney Rules:
1. You must battle with 100% health.
2. There will be no double posting.

The Tactician:
So you think you know something about tactics? Lets see what you have learned
1st place: 3,000 Energon
2nd place: 1,000 Energon
3rd place: 500 Energon

To win this stage you must complete three of the following tactics:
Please list in the following format: (Bot - Tactic - Time fired off)
1. Use Ram 5x in a mission (5 listings)
2. Use Dodge 5x in a mission (5 listings)
3. Use Strafe 5x in a mission (5 listings)
4. Use Repair 5x in a mission (5 listings)

The Survivor:
Any good Transformer knows that its not all about tactics. It is about surviving.
1st place: 4,000 Energon
2nd place: 2,000 Energon
3rd place: 1,000 Energon

To win this Stage you must complete two of the following Survival. The matches must be done in a fight where there is at least 3 of the opposite faction in the fight:
1. Win any match as the last survivor in any 3x3 or more matches (5 listings)
2. Win by running out the clock in any 3x3 match (5 listings)
3. Survive any match of 3x3 or higher with 100% (5 listings)

The Champion:
What is the purpose of having the ability to fight and to survive. Show your worth to your faction.
1st place: 5,000 Energon
2nd place: 3,000 Energon
3rd place: 1,500 Energon

To win this Stage you must complete all of the three Champion levels
1. Successfully kill anybody 1 or more levels higher than you (5 listings)
2. Kill at least two enemies in the match in a 3x3 or higher match (5 listings)
3. Be the top fighter (Earn the most points) in a match (5 listings)

Bonus:
1. Team kills (Team up with your fellow bots). If both of you post the same mission and give credit to teaming up with your fellow bot for his aid. If both of you post it you both win a 5,000 Energon bonus each (This can be accomplished 3x)
2. Eradication: Kill an enemies squad (IE 6 out of 12 members( in 24 hours of the same commander’s Squad. Do this and you would get a bonus of 8,000 Energon. (This can be accomplished 2x)

3. Best team background development: Post your team ID here if you have a backstory. The Moderators will review your character’s bios. The person with the most favorite bios will win the following prizes or surprise gifts (This will be left up to the moderators):
1. Best individual bios: (5,000 energon)
2. Funniest individual bios (5,000 energon)
3. Best team bios: (5,000 energon)
4. Funniest team bios: (5,000 energon)

Added incentive for everyone to in:

Winner of each category from BOTH sides can pick an alt of their choice from the master list, with the single overall winner getting as many as they want for their team.

conditions: 1 alts will be awarded once only, when you reset it, its gone. 2 Only existing alts can be awarded. 3 alts can be chosen from either sides list. 4 My decision is final. 5 Winners names will used to publicise the game. 6 *classified*. 7 and no taking the piss. 8 unless its funny

Are people finding this contest too hard? Do some modifications need to be made?

I think it's more uncertainty about how we respond, but then I've never played a contest before. Do we just post mission logs (and the link to our team overview for bio judgment) in this thread whenever we feel like it until the 26th? When you say limit 5 and no double posts, does that mean we have to say what specific category we're submitting for? I could submit 2 different missions for Flash-Turbine, in each of which he's a contender in 3 different specific categories (ex: 5 rams, 5 evades, and killing a bot 2 levels higher) And is it a limit of 5 per character, or per team?

If there's no penalty for posting a bit more that we should, other than 6 and up not being counted, I'm sure you'll get at least a handful of entries by the end of the week.

Hey man, long time no talk.

To answer your questions yes, please post in the sections such as

The Champion:

Darq kills at 1:36 and 2:05

When I say 5 listings I mean that you need 5 missions to complete that section. You can only use a mission once and only for one section. So to use my previous example, if Darq killed cons that were higher than him and rammed 5x and had 5 strafes all in one mission then I could only use the mission once for one of the listing. In this case I chose to show it for two enemies killed.

There is no penalty for posting a bit at at time. There is also no limit per character or per team. Theoretically if you had a character that could do everything then you would be able to use one of each of that character's missions that was applicable for the spot. Again you can only use a mission once and can only apply it to one section.

As for the bonus. Yes submit it with big bold letters letting the Mods know that you are submitting your character bios for what ever section you chose.

I will be submitting a post probably tomorrow for Named Violation for his completion as he can not submit right now.

No rush on judging the results, but I guess this'll be kind of hard to score: Named_Violation has more total entries, I completed a wider variety of tasks...but apparently neither of us finished all the tasks for even a single category.

Still, a pretty interesting first contest, Anshin.

Sorry man. I had to work this most of this weekend, which stinks because it caused my play time and deployments to be erratic as well as probably screwing my data collection and the other competition that I am competing in.

What I may do is have a private contest for just you and him, or split the total reward prizes between you and him. Since you are from opposite factions than me, I am going to have to talk to the people that will be sending you the donations to see what they think is fair.

Regardless, it was a good contest. Anyone interested in that upcoming Scavenger hunt will likely regret not getting practice in here.

we're both cons, we cant donate cross-faction.
I can donate to any cons that need it.

I can give to any cons you want, but can't donate to bots

I'm "pretty sure" one of the top bots "will" donate if needed.

I know and talked to The Potentate to donate to you guys since I wanted you both to have a reward for playing. I am currently working another game, but I don't want to run it the same time as any other competition. That and I honestly want to play Sustain's games. After they are over I will get together with the people I promised and run another less complicated one.

Also, since you were so generous would you like me to start doing any kind of data collection or analysis on your characters for you? I have nothing to offer as a way of being so generous to your own faction except for doing such information gathering and crunching

if you wanna compaire something, keep an eye on my top 2 cons. the only real difference is the cost of their tactics. theyve both got 10 strafe 10 ram, and i wanna see if you can tell the difference between expensive/cheap tactic effectiveness.

You have it man. It looks like I will be working this weekend, however since I won't have to do development work nor will I have to do anything but sit here and be a supervisor I can work on a set of new formulas. Hopefully I can start collecting data Friday night and do a 2 week collection on you. You are a constant player and your cons get a nice rotation of 5-10 depending upon your play time and selection, so I should be able to capture a nice sample of data to return back to you.
