Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

I blame Hasbro for this.

He did say he blamed Hasbro for it rather than blaming Fun Pub, so he's at least blaming the right guilty party.Hellscream9999 wrote:YoungPrime wrote:I find this whole ordeal disrespectful to all the fans and collectors who've been waiting YEARS for a decent Reflector at retail. That's hilarious, as it is a hasbro design, the original use for the mold if I'm not mistaken. It was also hasbro who gave it to funpub for them to use. It was likely canned due to not making a very good camera mode or something. And for a 3 pack, it was no more expensive than anything else they've released

Makes me wonder which fiction, though. Reflector's bio alludes to the events of IDW's Spotlight: Wheelie with LV-117, as well as to the IDW version of Jhiaxus, but all of the other toys released in the same assortment as Reflector (i.e. - the BotCon 2016 exclusives) fall into the IDW Beast Era continuity circa "Dawn of the Predacus" (save for the different versions of the custom class Ratchet/Medix figure, as the custom class figures don't always match the theme of the BotCon they're a part of), which is a separate continuity from the main IDW one. Meanwhile, Flash Sentry's bio refers to the Photons, Reflector's subgroup from the Wings Universe, as well as to the Battle of Autobot City, which most certainly did not ever take place in the main IDW universe.padfoo wrote:Seibertron wrote:Knew I had forgotten something with these galleries! Those are dome extremely well done bio's that integrate fully into the fiction.

I was under the impression Reflector didn't make the cut on account of deco similarity - rereleasing the primarily purple Shockwave as the primarily purple Reflector wasn't going to knock any socks off.Hellscream9999 wrote:It was likely canned due to not making a very good camera mode or something.
Ah, these old chestnuts. How on Earth does this constitute disrespect, or greed etc? Reflector's a small name, didn't get a huge role, and wasn't even released at retail (well, apart from Japan), so he was released as a minor retool of an existing figure from a niche seller. That's a pretty sensible decision, really.YoungPrime wrote:I find this whole ordeal disrespectful to all the fans and collectors who've been waiting YEARS for a decent Reflector at retail. Hahahaha, don't worry too much. I made the same joke on instagram.Tyrannacon wrote:Sumpin funny!
You can just reference my Seibertron user name. Or put a little "pic by carytheone" text in a corner. Whatever works for you.Tyrannacon wrote:Heh. Great minds as they say.
I'm going to submit it to the TF Comedy Prescribed page on Facebook if that's fine by you. If you have no problems, how do you want me to tell them to credit you?
And Reflector is standing next to Reflector while Reflector takes a picture of Reflector with Reflector in Reflector's hands as Reflector looks on at Reflector using Reflector to take a picture of Reflector standing next to Reflector.Tyrannacon wrote:I had a little bit of fun tonight based on the "Xzibit Meme" with the last image I quoted.
I think I might be taking away my Internet privileges for a bit now.
