& those two molds other feature to become a chestpiece would be a non plus! as they wouldn't be able to work that way with existing &/or current RID figures
Smart move by takara. Powerglide made one stupid looking gun and the whole chest plate idea was dumb to begin with. Everybody talked crap about it on TFC Uranus with phantom ray but when Hasbro does the same thing now everybody loves it. It looked horrible on menasor with his chest doors opened up creating a hollow shell surrounding the car which wasnt even symmetrical. And groove was stupid as a chest plate too like Hasbro said "if we dont make him a leg WTF should we do with him ?" As far as im concerned its the Override mold and Groove is the lazy repaint lol. Now to find him some guns...

The latter is an homage to the Triggerbot of old, and a blue/red deco on Generations Legends Groove. The other figure is of course calling back to the Battlecharger from 1986, using its red and black scheme of the Blackjack mold. Click on any of the images below to view the full galleries!
Transformers Adventures Override
What do you mean "cross into other product lines"? This Override toy is a homage to G1 Override, a Transformers toy.Stuartmaximus wrote:if they're gonna cross into other product lines then why not go the whole hog & do one of this

The best person I know to ask about this subject directly would be TF_JW, since I'm going by things that he has said about this elsewhere.Seibertron wrote:Sabrblade wrote:And they can't legally do full on GoBot homages. Out of curiosity, where does this come from? It sounds like conjecture, much like the supposed "VW won't allow a licensed Transformers toy to be made" rumor that so many fans believe is true, yet there is no official statement of this anywhere to be found to the best of my knowledge.

But with IP split between Tonka, Bandai, and Hanna Barbera and Hasbro only buying Tonka's share of it, it's a messy gray area to try to wade into.

i was referring to Quillfire as mud bogger bulkhead, but since you bring it up: Strongarm is the Bulkhead from a universe where everything is backwards except for good and bad. smart to not so smart, male to female, lithe yet beefy to outright bulky, rule breaker to rule enthusiast....
