I don't think age matters... In fact, since it's a world of collector's after all, I suspect the majority entering the contest is of adult age.
Umm...this magazine is definitely aimed at kids. And the entry form is a survey about the magazine.

that chrome movie leader prime (the one that was won in a contest some time back) looked really good. i wonder what the dollar value on that would be if it were for sale?

I'd say $1500 USD absolute minimum (and probably crazy). Although that is probably low-balling it considering that there's only five. That kind of run is usually several thousand.

I made it my goal recently to collect the entire movie line(and I've succeeded with the exception of the new Voyager Meg and OP repaints that are coming out soon), and it's absolutely amazing the amount of stuff that never comes out the UK. The G1-style Jazz, Deep Space Starscream, Battle-Damaged Prime etc. etc. I found it easier to get Tsutaya Bumblebee from Japan than getting Real-Gear Meantime from the US!
Let's not forget also that there are many US figures (such as the Botcon sets) which never make it to Japanese shores.

Bonger wrote:Small correction. There are going to be 15 of each. Only 5 of each via the draw and another 10 of each will be given away.
First Gen wrote:Transformers @ The Moon has posted images of new Lucky Draw figures that come from the Henkei line.
The two figures that were featured in TV Magazine are Henkei Convoy and Galvatron. Like most Lucky Draw figures, these two appear to sport the all gold chroming scheme that makes these figures highly desired and next to impossible to get.
According to the report, 5 pieces of each figure will be made and released in the March/April 2009 timeframe.

Where did you get your info from?
That is so untrue.
Unless they do an extra draw but I don't see it happening.
ultraconvoy wrote:They don't know what they talking about. its wild guessing. They have no proof.
ultraconvoy wrote:Nothing against the moon but they seem to assume things with no proof. So the draw is for 5 and that's all we know.
I got my hands on 2 test samples. so make that 7
