Leaving the Hasbro Panel at BotCon, you may have been thinking in your head, "Wow, there was so much awesome stuff, but I just can't believe Reflector is going to be a remold of Perceptor, I wanted a camera!" Throw third party PerfectEffect into the equation. Just like Brett Favre, PerfectEffect keeps coming back and back again... except PerfectEffect does something useful with their talents. This 1-year old company is already on their 11th product in the line, PE-11 SFX(Scouting Force X) Reflector!

SFX Reflector is to come in three pieces like the original Generation One toy, and they are Edge (Viewfinder), Shield (Spyglass) and Bullet (Spectro). We've already seen pictures of Edge, and if you missed out, you can find them here. On to the new stuff, we've got prototype images of the entire set, as well as an image of the actual camera. Compared to Deluxe Special Ops Jazz and Hound, the combined camera is quite big compared to initial assumptions of it being small. There's also images of Shield (Spyglass) armed to the teeth! Still no word on the release date, price, or if Edge, Shield and Bullet will be released separately or together. Check out the images below!

Agreed. This set is looking really good and I'm also surprised by the scale. Hopefully, paint apps will be applied well and this set is gold.

Oh crap. This may be the first must-buy PE product for me. It looks amazing! THE GUNS STORE INSIDE THE SHIELD. I love gun storage! So awesome. Well articulated and detailed as well, and the camera mode is bigger than I was expecting. Looks great.

this is awesome and i think their best work yet..a must buy... its nice to get complete figures once in awhile watching some other tfs skyrocket w/add ons,especially the ones you wouldnt want without them

I love this set. the figures look great, with awesome articulation and screen accuracy. And they actually turn into a camera instead of a tank or gun or something stupid. I also like how the camera mold looks like the old school toy but not quite as out of date.

Piggin' awesome! I'm loving Shield's carbine set up. Very impressed with the size. I imagine each is a tad bigger than Shadow Warrior and the rest of the PE series.

I hate to see the price-tag on these. PE-01 was so expensive for such tiny figure, and these form a deluxe sized camera. I want them so much though....

Excellent figure overall.


You know these figures are gonna be 30 - 40 bucks each. Wish they would do all three at once for 50. That would be a fair price.

The total cost of buying these guys individually wouldn't justify the purchase if they were 40 bucks each. I just paid 45 bucks after shipping and handling for PE NINJA so i don't see these guys being any different. I had to pass on Ejector and Rewind from PE. Too much money for multiple repaints.

So 135 bucks for the sum total of a Reflector is silly. I'm speculating this end price point but i bet i'm not far off.

So, Hasbro can put time and resources into making a pink and white 2 piece shelf warmer but can't devote any energy into a 3 piece bundle of sheer awesomeness like this???
This is, without a doubt, the first 3rd party set that I've seen that has made a part of my brain scream "MUST HAVE THIS". Way to go PerfectEffect team! :APPLAUSE:

OK-I'm totally buying this set. After opening my 2-pack with Ninja/Kingbat and seeing the steps forward in quality and paint apps, I have very high hope for this next release.

They're nice and all but I think it's a little early (10 days?) to say someone's beaten FP for product of the year. Especially when you compare both companies' lines of products and possibly more importantly, their prices.

Well. . .I do like what I'm seeing. . .I like what i'm seeing alot actually. . .its just that, I wish these guys had the toy heads, and not the cartoon heads, mainly because the design in the cartoon looked way too bland for my taste :roll: dont get me wrong I'll still get these guys if the price isnt too steep.

Agreed. Except for causality, we don't really know of anything FP is doing. PerfectEffect is getting to be good, but FP is still the platinum standard.
