This is likely the only PCC I'll be purchasing. I'd very much like a dinosaur two pack to use as an alternate commander. The minicon could be an extra horn/spike that transformers into a small dinosaur for a robot mode instead of a standard robot. :PRAY:

Looks good but I feel that the limbs won't fit in with any other Figure in the line. I'll still get it though.

Anyone besides me get a Magnaboss vibe from the combined mode.

He's looking good. If Hasbro does decide to continue the PCC line though, they're going to have to step up on the drones. Giving them elbow (and maybe even knee) joints would be a huge step in the right direction and would definitely make them a lot better. I'm also surprised we haven't seen a Tidal Wave (or other name) with the Dark Fleet (as drones) or a Rail Racer (or other name) with (insert name of drones) yet.

I've liked the look of this PCC set since it was first revealed and I still like it. I just hope that the combiner joints are consistently solid on the production units because I was let down by Bombshock and the Combaticons set due to the poor connections on my figures.

I like the aesthetics of the individual drones and combined figure. I don't mind the absence of hands as this design looks more suitable as a beastformer to me.

I'm really happy they went with more of a robotic-dinosaur look with this, versus Beast-look. It's a lot more G1-esque this way.

I like it more than enough to get it, and dislike parts of it enough to get 2. I would love it with 2 dimetrodon arms and 2 ankylosaurus legs.

I am fine with the drones not having a robot mode, but would think that since they only transform into limbs, the limbs should make better use of the dinosaur parts. Especially the hideous parasaurolophus arms. Especially especially because there are obvious ways to make it better that seem simple. Have the guns mounted differently so they can flip forward. Have the tail curve the other way, or move downward so it can act as a finger. Then it could grab and stab instead of just... grabbing poorly with misangled pincers.

But that's beside the point. The dinosaurs are adorable and make me hope that a Predacon sets is in the future.

Wrong species of dinosaur, though the general family (Ceratopsia) is correct. I still say it's a Power Rangers Dino Thunder ripoff, colors aside.

Thanks Professor, but I know that Grimstone is not a Triceratops (or possibly Torosaurus if the new findings and research gain a foothold). We work in approximate levels of representation with these repurposings.

Triceratops is the official name because they were named before the Torosaurus, so it is the Torosaurus that won't exist do to technicality.

when 5 pieces of turd are mercifully slapped together in an attempt to form a massive pile of junk....i think it's a waste of money.

very poor execution of an idea that had great potential.

this will be the first 5 pack i dont pick. all the sets so far can be interchanged somewhat, but a helicopter, racecar, dinosaur bot just makes no sense

Not a bad idea, but for my personal canon, I'm thinking of viewing the PCCs as filling a gap I've wanted filled for a while -- the Cybertronian side of the Beast War era. The consequences of the law requiring Transformers to be smaller, resulting in Maxies and Predies. Something like... as an attempt to cheat the law, both sides tried making gestalts, but due to the spark/mass ratio, it didn't work. So instead they cloned/homaged gestalt leaders and put tiny pieces of their spark into drones. Also the dinobots because why not. So Bombshock is to Onslaught as Optimus Primal is to Optimus Prime, and Grimstone is to Grimlock as Megatron is to Megatron.

But I do tend to go overboard on this sort of thing.

That killed my hope that the pachy leg and para arm only looked bad in pictures. They are even worse than I thought. Still, love the dino modes, will get at least 2 of this guy. Maybe 3 so I can have him combined with double the good limbs, and a full set of dino modes.

Awesome! Definitely looking forward to these guys. Nice to see that the combiner head doesn't look as bad as I thought. Loving the classic dinobot color scheme too.
