I don't need my toys to be G1 accurate, but when NEITHER mode is even close, I'm not interested.
Just because they got the head right and he has piledrives does NOT make him Rumble.
Head, pile drivers and chest. That's more than enough. Besides, who still uses cassettes these days? Do the kids even know them?

I (fortunately) did not waste my money on the unofficial overpriced trash that was PE's Rumble and Frenzy so having a proper representation of the Cassete brothers in the Classics line is excellent for me.
That's dumb.
What do you know if they are trash or not? You didn't buy them, so your opinion is just hyperbole in support of your decision/justification to go the less expensive route.
You may not like the look of the Perfect Effect figures, but calling them trash is straight up ignorant.
They're not trash because they look bad (which I do think they do) they're trash because they're $60 tiny pieces of plastic that were made to have people waste money on in order to profit from the success of somebody elsé's product. It's my opinion on 3rd Party Products as a whole. They're trash making money from a franchise they don't own. Not in the way of junk in a trashcan but because of how you refer to thieves as trash. In my opinion its stealing. Transformers is not their property and I don't think its right for them to be allowed to make figures in order to make money riding the surf of Transformer's earned success. I hope that makes sense, I don't think I'm wording it properly...
I know I'm a minority, but it irks me when people are passing by good official products like this figure because they've spent money on something that is not giving the profit to the company that actually owns the franchise. To me, its downright stealing.
I agree with you. That's exactly why I don't like the 3rd party stuff as well

I disagree with the thought here. Other than the iGear Mini-MP line, the Hasbro/Third Party relationship isn't love-hate. It isn't even one or the other. Even in the case of PE's not Rumble and not Frenzy. Id imagine PE made them to be our Neo-G1 Rumble and Frenzy that Hasbro had not made yet. But, since it was likely and Hasbro is putting out a Rumble/Frenzy mold, PE decided to make their figures have another purpose: to upgrade FP' City Commander which was made to upgrade an OFFICIAL Hasbro product. PE is pretty much doing this with their whole line.
My point is, the relationship is beneficial to both companies, and us, as fans. I think Hasbro realizes this and that is why they aren't crashing down on them.

Exactly. We all have a choice on who to buy from and where. No one on this board should be crucified for their different choices. I prefer Hasbro's rendition over PE's. There's no problem with that, right?

What? they look absolutely NOTHING alike.
If it did look like a hiss tank i'd pick it up. As it is, Rumble looks more like the tanks for Bruticus Maximus or a Gi Joe Armadillo tank. That could be what your thinking of.
AutobotTrainer wrote:Am I the only one that thinks Rumble looks like he has the Transformers version of leprosy? Strange bumps, bulges and deformed legs and arms.
Um, icky.
(no offense to those afflicted with this horrible disease. But I'm just sayin'....)

They look like Kotobukiya's Mechanical Chain bases.
