So its reissued regularly. Just wondering. All I remember about him was that he was quite fragile.

the 1/55 VF-1 mold fragile?yeah right, the 1/55 "chunky munky" is a veritable brick in terms of durability.ANY newer VF-1 interpretation , be they Toynami, Yamato or Banpresto, is more fragile then a good old chunky munky.can it be broken, yes of course, you just have to know where to do it.and the shoulderhinges is a weak spot on ANY VF-1 toy.but fragile...hell no!you could probably club someone to death with one if you do it right.

I've seen two supper ones the original VF-1S and the reissue for either the 15th or 20th anniversary. Both go for a pretty penny on e-Bay. Surprisingly both are close in $$$ amount. Well I have some good news. I have transformed my Beta fighter into Gerwalk mode and he is stable. Quite stable actually, that is if I have him transformed correctly. I noticed in the instructions that there should be some joint that slides down but I haven't been able to find it. I do notice that I don't have the front as far down as on the box and it appears that I have some extra port that opens but I'm not sure what for. It's in the blue area behind the panel that opens to peg the shoulder gun into. I'm sure when I get an American version I'll be able to follow those directions but so far so good.

Well I have my Legios Alpha fighter in bot mode and must say he is rather stable. The only complaint I have is that it's impossible to open the missile bays on his legs and arms without using excessive force. Other than that all is well, if he is transformed correctly.

I thought that wasn't out yet. I'm talking about the Ashomia one that has been heavily panned elsewhere. Trust me when I get the CMS one you'll all know. Speaking of which BBTS has a preorder up for the new Yamato 1/60 VF-1S. They've upped the price but remember it is perfect transformation now.

Did BBTS ever put up a preorder for the CMS set? I never saw it listed.

no but HLJ has a listing for it.in other news, the new series started last week. I myself had forgotten about it but seeing the second ep(aired last thursday IIRC)I gotta say, this series is VERY good IMO so far...good mystery buildup(why are the bug like aliens so attracted to Ranka Lee`s emotions, why is Sheryl seemingly so important to the N.U.N.S. and what exactly does the S.M.S. know about the enemy so far come to mind already) and Bandai`s doing the new valkyries for Macross F.more news when I find it and if you need help locating eps, gimme a holler.

OK something is up we're missing posts. I got the Stick Bernard Cyclone and am 99.9% sure this will be the same figure we get from Toynami when they release the MP Cyclones since the instructions were in English and Toynami's logo was all over the box.

Any pics? i'm planning on getting one. If you have any marvel legends or any 6-inch scale action figure, I could use the size comparison.

Pics I will really try to get to. As for size Scott is smaller than a Marvel Legend but keep in mind his legs and feet do extend a little once he is fully armored up.

Um, with his legs in he's more like maybe 6? With the armor on he seems to be an inch shorter than say ML Vengeance who is one of two ML's I have. I will make sure to do a shot where Scott is with a few different figures for size comparison.

Dude I'm so sorry. I've been sidetracked with work so I haven't had a chance. I got everything set up for the size comparison shot but haven't been able to shoot it. I will get on it ASAP since I hate to make people wait.

OK here they are. In the group is Scott and a few of the 25th anniversary Joes. Although they are still designated as being 3 and 3/4 in hight they range between 3,3/4 and 4." Revoltech Roddimus is about a half inch shorter than Scott.
