What's that little plastic thing next to the pilot? Don't tell me it's a mini Cyclone. Which Gekken Cyclone do you have? I have a Scott Bernard one.

I can take one for you tomorrow but I warn you, the Toynami Alpha`s look a LOT better then the Gakken Alpha....not that it totally sucks though, it`s just well...oddly proportioned.you`ll see what I mean tomorrow.Air Commander Starscream wrote:I would love to see some of the older figures.
Air Commander Starscream wrote:Yea exactly I have still 4 or 5 more galleries to post form the old thread.
I do not have any of the Toynami Masterpeice Alpha's but I really want to get Rooks red one. She is like Miria and Miria is my fav character. I have heard good and bad things about the Alphas. I have herd from some that they are incredibly loose, and others who say ther were just fine. Like i said I want to get a Rook Alpha.
As for the beta I remember Toynami saying they were going to do one, but it didnt happen. I think they coudlnt afford to put it out or something like that.
EDIT: I just found this from Toy Fair 07...they were showing off the new Masterpeice Alpha from Shadow Chronicles, the Cyclone and the Beta apparantly!

I can`t tell you which one it exactly is but I can snap a few pics together with my Gakken Alpha and my Toynami Shadow Alpha for references...and as for the Alpha`s being released in the US....beats me man, I`m dutch although I DO remember having had two Takatoku 1/100 VF-1S as a kid...(and broke them...chuckdawg1999 wrote:Black Arachnis wrote:it IS a mini Cyclone actually...and mine is Scott`s too in good condition. I should have asked is it a straight Gekken or is it a Hennshin Robo Gekken like mine. I do believe the Hennshin Robo's are smaller. Now correct me if I'm wrong but weren't the Alpha's released in the US and were the ONLY Veritech's released for the Robotech line? I do remember having one as a child; and breaking it.

Agamemnon wrote:The YF-21 is one I want to get at some point. If I get the chance, I'll definitely pick up the fast pack.
The only ones I want to ge tmore might be the Beta and the Veritech from MAcross II (not Metal Siren.) Did they ever make one in 1/72 or 1/60 scale?
Oh, and awsome galleries! I'm salivating at my desk here. That Hikaru 1J really brought back the nostalgia...
Air Commander Starscream wrote:I know they made some model kits for Macross II but I dont recall any toys.
Air Commander Starscream wrote: Macross II isn't really official Macross it didnt even corespond with the macross universe, it was just a unofficial sequel that happened to have the name Macross II.
Air Commander Starscream wrote:As for for the Yamato 1/72nd YF-21 isnt really that bad...it's just the Gerwalk mdoe is almsot impossible and the Battroid mode cant be posed without falling over. The Fighter mode on the Fast Pack Version is just so beautiful.
