as cool as the VF-2SS is, I`d like to see some other veritech models that apart from a design by Kawamori never got any toy or model love such as the AV-49 Silver Axe(a B2 style veritech), the VA-9 Invader(an A-6 Intruder like veritech) or the LV-7 Valorious Rapier(an F-104 Starfighter derivative veritech)and yes, I KNOW that they`d have to get popular before Yamato`ll consider making these but still...they`re cool new models that aren`t a rehash of the VF-1 transformationscheme such as the VF-11B Thunderbolt and the VF-0S Zero are.(do love them though, have both)

Yea I wish Yamato would put out some newer stuff. Thankfully they gave us the VF-0, YF-19 and were getting the SV-51 soon. I am so glad they are giving us new molds and not the same ol' recycled VF-1 (now if only they would do a 2 seater!) Here are some other protoypes that have been out there...this one is the VF-5000 Star Mirage...man O man I wish they had put this one out... this is a scratch built model in 1/100th scale (Studi Half Eye).... (This has been posted in the old thread but hey I figures why not post it in the new one).

The VF-1J pics brought back memories, of breaking the leather strap trying to get it on the gun pod, loosing one of the metal rings (found it though) and having a MISB toy with TWO right hands. Cool figure though, although I will allways prefer the VF-1S. Speaking of which is the "fixed" VF-0S out yet? I reeeealy want one but not if it is going to be constantly doing the windmill.

My 1/48 is the 1J stealth version, and I've also got the strike parts for it. Much prefer it to the mass production type and the other colors...

As for the 1/100s...I've got series 1, and I just can't bring myself to get series two. The thing that did it for me were the breaking display stands... otherwise it would have been cool to display them flying... but now - what's the use?

I just purchased the same one from HLJ this week. It'll be my first Macross purchase...ever. Boy was that expensive though. I'm now waiting for the new Cyclones and Miara's Stealth Alpha. Oh, and the Beta's. Just been looking for some new Mecha type toys to get into.

Ah - this is good to hear. Though now I've preordered MP Megatron at HLJ (no orange cap for me hahahah! I live outside the US and HLJ will only put caps on Megs going to the US) and I also need to save up to get MP04, so I'll pass on 60 dollar fruitloop VTs with poor transformations

That and I've got the VFAO Shin with Ghost preordered as well

nope, the Legioss is the Alpha Fighter, the Inbit are the Mospeada version of the Invid. (just got my Protoculture DVD set in so I`m on a Robotech spree)

Sorry about that. My Henshin Robo Cyclone box has a brief back story to Mospedia and talk about the Invid as an individual and not a race. It could be the Engrish translation.

Max: Light blue Yf-21

Kaz: Green vf-11b

I wish my 11B looked like that, and not like what it is - namely a really bad toy whose foot fell off and was screwed back on, and whose shield could not, for the love of God, fit nicely in jet form and had to be shaved of a few centimeters... I think my 11B is the mother of production errors.... These - both the custom and the one behind it - look great..
