Welcome to the General Discussion area where just about anything goes! This area is designed to discuss all matters and does not necessarily have to be Transformers related. Please keep topics relevant.

well..

I would take a deep breath and think real hard before getting rid of them. I assume (though forgive me if I'm wrong) that you want to get rid of them and replace them with 1/48s, the new 1/60 19 and ...well...I don't know why you're getting rid of the 11Bs....

But I wouldn't do it if I were you :)

If no one else takes them though - maybe try selling them to BBTS?

Already have more than a few 1/48's and the 19 1/60. Gotta sell them because my display cases are full, my shelves are full, and I'm not allowed another one because my wife is due with my son on Friday, and space is limited as it is. I had to choose between my TF's, Gundam MG/PG's, Mac 1/48's and my Mac 1/60's.Losing the custom skull leader breaks my heart (I worked very hard on it) but that's what happens. I'd be more upset if I had to give up my Gundam hobby though.

Some of them. However if Gundam gets the PG line going again I'm screwed, my case is jammed full and the 1/48's and PG's share it. Damn GP01 kit and it's stupid repair dock...takes up way to much room but it looks so damn cool. The worst thing is After going through it I'm going to have to get rid of a couple. I just got 2 low viz 1's not that long ago for 470 (I know, I scored big time!) and I think one's gonna have to go  . By the way, if anyone gets one, they look great with the stealth fast packs.

Have you considered public storage? Perhaps storing a few at a friends house?

No, I don't want to store them, I'd rather see them appreciated in someone else's collection than in a box. I don't know, it's upsetting but I'll live. I don't think 300 for the pictured lot is too much to ask. That's about 50 a valk, and discontinued valks no less. The 19A, 11b, and 1S go for more than that individually. A loose 19A game edition runs about 70 loose, an 11b about the same, and the 1S boxed and complete goes for about 60-70. I'm surprised no one's jumped on it yet.

Looks like BigBadToyStore.com has preoders up for 1/48th VF-1J Super Miria and 1/48th VF-1J Super Max fot $199.99 each. These will be Re Production Runs, from when they came out a few years back.

This gives me a chance to get a Max to go with my Miria and not pay $250+.

SaveRobotech of Macrossworld has pointed out that a Japanese toy whole sale site has updated with details of a new 1/48 Leigoss(Alpha Fighter) to be produced by Aoshima.

Original post:
SaveRobotech wrote:There is a Japanese toy whole sale site that has updated their site with details indicating Aoshima Toy and Model will be releases a variable 1/48 scale Mospeada Legioss under their already established “A New Century Alloy” toy line. There are no pictures of the toy at this time, but the release is scheduled for July 2007. Currently set to cost a retail price of 10290¥ ($87.00 USD).

No I'm not talking about the 1/48 reissued IMAI model kits that are already out from the same company.

So we'll have 3 semi-different sculps to choose from soon; Toynami(), CM (), Aoshima ( :) ). Toynami and Aoshima being based on the Imai model and CM's relatively new mold.
First company to bring out Leigoss WITH Tread gets my buy. FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!

More Mospeada news...I read this on Macrossworld about 2 weeks ago and forgot about it but heard it again on Robotech companion. So for those who haven't seen this...

Beagle is producing 1/15 Mospeada Ride armours for 2008.

Save Robotech wrote:Beagle toys have a booth at this years 2007 Tokyo Anime Fair, and they will be releasing a 1/12 scale VR-052-F Mospeada Ride Armor. They are aiming for an early 2008 release in Japan. They didn't have prototype just a Mospeada display as a formal announcement. It will be fully transformable and made of ABS plastic and die cast metal. It is also a new sculpt not a reissue of the old Gakken mold. Beagle plans to release all 4 types of Ride Armor, and should have the VR-052-F on display at this year Plamodel Radicon Show.

I think this will be their first transformable toy, right now they mostly have a few PVC figures for Ghost In The Shell, and Range Murata characters.

Hooray they're making all the VRs. Screw Toynami and how about some Southern Cross love?

New Mospeda stuff is good, but I would prefer to see the love of some of the other Macross VF's that we don't have things of. Although there are the fully tranformable Studio Half Eye stuff, but were talking $$$$$$ there.

I would give ANYTHING for a 1/60th VF-11B!! Also they need to make a 1/60th YF-21...the 1/72nd was great in fighter mode (especially the retooled Fast Pack version) but the other 2 modes were BAD.

$250+? Try paying $400 for one used with some panel lines drawn in. Hmmm the joints are loose on mine and one of the boosters has a habit of popping off. Perhaps...

I got my Miria new, but the missle pods on the Fast Packs do seem to pop out very easily, more easily then on my Strike pack for my VF-1S Hikaru and Strike Stealth.

I remember you spending that much on your Max. I was lucky to get my Miria for about $235 all together (my first 1/48th). I really wnt a Max!

Does anybody know if there is going to be anything different with this release? I know they sometimes "Tweak" the molds and I'm just curious. Any word yet on when the second edition of the VF-0S is coming out?

More Mospeada news.

Image
thanks to Lynx7255 of macrossworld, this scan comes from a Japanese magazine (what one it is though, no one has mentioned...)
the top half shows proto images of CM's new Leigoss and Tread figures. Also pictured are it's accessories: Gun, sword and cyclone figures. Also pictured are all three head sculpts!
bottom half left is Toynami's Alpha release for Japan brought to you by Aoshima...nuff said really.
bottom half right is proto pictures of Beagle's new Ride armor! looking awesome. Below that it says that the figure will be 1:10 scale.

Also Graham of Macrossworld posted an image of what seems to be concept art for new Mospeada. a new series in development perhaps?
http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.p ... t&id=42192

Also, also, Kaiyodo is bringing the VF-1 to it's Revoltech line, starting with the VF-1J.
Image
thanks to UN Spacy of Macrossworld for that.

Wow that's a lot of stuff on the horizon. Not sure how I feel about the Revolvtech figures. I mean after all, what makes a Veritech a Veritech is that it TRANSFORMS!

Yeah I never remembered a sword either. Lancer's Cyclone was supposed to have swords but they never made it into the show.
