uh the Koenig Monster only has three modes, shuttle, gerwalk and battroid. gerwalk just happens to be a close relative to the MAC II Monster.and no valks at all isn`t quite true buddy, they DID make a playset VF-1S that couldn`t transform and Revell made modelkits of the valks, the more complex ones could transform.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Spoon wrote:Just me random wondering. It was released under the Robotech line in the 80's. They couldn't do the Valks so they had to do something. Yammato did a 1/100 Koeing Monster that is a six changer but I don't think that's the same thing.
A transforming Monster? We are all talking about this baby right?Black Arachnis wrote:uh the Koenig Monster only has three modes, shuttle, gerwalk and battroid. gerwalk just happens to be a close relative to the MAC II Monster.and no valks at all isn`t quite true buddy, they DID make a playset VF-1S that couldn`t transform and Revell made modelkits of the valks, the more complex ones could transform.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Spoon wrote:Just me random wondering. THAT one doesn`t but THIS does...in seriousness Spoon, that`s an image of an MAC II Monster, NOT a VB-6 Koenig Monster.Spoon wrote:A transforming Monster? indeed it does and the VB-6 is from one of the japanese Macross games.here`s a little hypothetical question, what Tf character would you find fitting for the VB-6 if Hasbro was still able to pick and choose valkyries for their TF lines?Spoon wrote:Didn't knew that, i've only seen Macross stuff nothing of Robotech. Though I must give credit that the VB-6 battleroid mode looks pretty badass.
You mean which existing G1 transformer would have made a fitting VB-6 or?Black Arachnis wrote:here`s a little hypothetical question, what Tf character would you find fitting for the VB-6 if Hasbro was still able to pick and choose valkyries for their TF lines?

the Revell kits weren`t straight repackaging though, the manuals and stickersheets WERE altered as were the colorschemes and moldcolors. and Spoon, I meant what TF character would look good as a VB-6 so an existing one.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Black Arachnis wrote:uh the Koenig Monster only has three modes, shuttle, gerwalk and battroid. gerwalk just happens to be a close relative to the MAC II Monster.and no valks at all isn`t quite true buddy, they DID make a playset VF-1S that couldn`t transform and Revell made modelkits of the valks, the more complex ones could transform.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Spoon wrote:Just me random wondering. That was silly of me, I wonder why I thought six. I should have been clearer when I said Transformable Valks. I have one of the VF-1S that didn't transform but could hold a pilot. The model kits I really don't count as toys since they require work to put together. Weren't they also straight imports of Japanese kits as well?

I think it`s articulated flaps on the wings...and welcome back ACS!chuckdawg1999 wrote:HOLY MOTHER OF GOD AND LOLLIPOPS! AIR COMMANDER STARSCREAM HAS COME BACK TO THE MACROSS THREAD!!!!! Dude I was wondering when that figure was coming out. This is going to blow Toynami's 1/100 scale figures out of the water. If somebody finds a way to make this transform there goes their 1/100 transformable line as well. 35 joints eh? Something tells me two are the wings going up and down.

Air Commander Starscream wrote:Thanks Black Archnis and Chuck, It's been awhile since ive been on this thread:sad: . But I am now back and I am going to celebrate with buying the Yamato 1/60th VF-0A Shin with Ghost Booster. I am so torn right now on what I want to spend my money on, I also want to get the 1/48th VF-1J Super Max and the SV-51. But since Max and the SV-51 are jsut now coming out I am going to go with the VF-0A and Ghost. I'm also thinking (later on after the other 2) about getting the YF-19 with Fast Packs and Fold Booster set so I can have 2 of the 19.
(I missed talking like that)

I think I might order the VF-0S with Ghost because I have the first edition VF-0S with the CRAPPY arms that flop everywhere. This version has it all fixed...So I might jsut eventually bite the bullet and buy it and keep my oriignal VF-0S in Fighter mode. Right now though I am going for Shin's VF-0A.

Wait do you have the VF-0A already or are going to buy him? I've got him but haven't had time to open him.
