of course they have, G1 Jetfire wears a set. and as for your question Richyx, I know Archonia has the VF-1J Super Max type in 1/60 MISB for 87.81 euro`s excluding shipping.

Which 1/55th's do you mean? The original Takatoku's, Poppy's and Bandai's all had armor made for them. 9 times out of 10 the armor and figures came as a set. The only armor I know for the 20th anniversary reissues came with a Hikaru VF-1S. Interesting note is that old Bandai armor doesn't work with the newer figures.

had you asked me this question a month or two ago, you would`ve gotten the same link but with a FIFTY Euro sale on the Miria version. they`re all sold out sadly but I managed to nab myself two, one for Miria`s and another for a custom.

Done watching super dimension fortress macross
I loved it, despite the ancient art and animation :P
The serie dragged on a bit too long in the end though, they could have ended it like 2-3 episodes earlier.

Next up, macross 7!

that reminds me, I should get to torrenting M7 myself....and reobtain Flashback:2012..maybe track DYRL down again...and M Zero of course...though I did have an entertaining thought about the Genius/Sterling family...imagine their family disputes with both Max AND Miria being aces and all that..forget ducking for flying dishes, evading missilevolleys is more important.

Only saw the first episode just now. Can't say i'm all that impressed by it so far. The character design is good and all but the action is just... meh.
I loved how sdf macross action felt like a real battle field, despite the old animation it was just overal well done and believeable.
This first macross 7 battle I saw was just unimpressive + it had a geeky super robot transformation scene.

i dont believe i have seen flash back:2012 and yeaq i need to locate zero also. it took a while for me to get into it. as far as m7 goes, action wise, the older macross battle scenes were better. the main character would just p!$$ me off at first cuz he could fight but never would

Yeah I never remembered a sword either. Lancer's Cyclone was supposed to have swords but they never made it into the show.

The sword was used in the dream sequence when Rand Collapses in the sand and goes into a medieval-esque dream sequence. :D

Holy hell, Macross7 Sucks Balls.
The main character sucks, the music is only average and gets repeated like 20 times over (and ive only seen the first 5 episodes!) the whole concept of "Aliens are coming! lets go out and sing!" is just too darned retarded.
Ugh, waste of harddrive space.

Mooooving on to the next Macross serie.

True True. The designs are cool, it's just that they have pretty crappy colour schemes.
Also, the Zentradi were pretty cool opponents. Big giants from outer space with a huge ass fleet. This new alien race just looks retarded. No other way to say it, just... retarded.

anyone got a list on every macross serie?

IIRC it`s: Superdimensional Fortress Macross, Macross II, DYRL, Flashback 2012, 7, Plus and Zero.but chronologically it`d be Zero, SDF Macross, Flashback 2012, DYRL, Macross II, Plus, 7.hope we`ll get a new series though as Bandai`s rereleasing Plus and 7 on DVD for the 25th anniversary.

That's not chronologically correct - Macross II is alernate universe, plus it's set 80 years after the first space war, placing it about 35 years after Macross 7 Dynamite (which, incidentally, you missed from your list).

my mistake, it`s been a while since I`ve seen II and Dynamite is basicly still 7, just season 2. :P

I wouldn't say it was season 2 (Basara and Gamlin aside, the original cast only make cameo appearances, and the setting and tone are different), but I get your point.

Plus is indeed sweet, it`s the reason I bought the 1/60 YF-19 and added the 1/72 VF-11B and YF-21 FAST pack next to the game version VF-19A to my valkyrie collection...okay, and I repainted a Bandai 1/100 VF-19S Excalibur to a decepticon. little OT here btw, weren`t you dutch Spoon?if so, I could help out easier with files as I myself am dutch. :)

we did. hey, Archonia has the 21 FAST pack edition for 48.40 euro`s which is a steal considering normal pricing for Valkyries is a lot higher then that.here is a link to it if you`re interested in that purchase. :) and seeing as ACS has yet to do a gallery of the 1/60 YF-19, I`ll attach a photo I made of mine in a cool pose.
