It's funny, because John Warden actually considers BW "Transformers' dark age". What a pleb. Why would he rig something in favour of a result he doesn't like?

Especially when he's up against someone the Matrix previously rejected and two obscure Japanese-only characters.

If Star Saber had won, or even Ultra Magnus, I wouldn't have questioned the legitimacy of the voting. I would've only questioned it if Unknown Evil had won since 98% of fans seemed to not care less about him with Burn and a couple other spoilers being his only voters.

Is there any credibility to the rumor that all of the contestants will get toys, or is that just wishful thinking?

Well, for them to have put out this poll so close to POTP starting (it should be starting 3rd quarter this year or so) would indicate that they at the very least have designs for all nine ready just in case - much like how we can extrapolate from the Titan poll that they have designs for Titan-class Scorponok and Omega Supreme ready.

Fair enough. I suppose that my biggest hope for POTP is that all of the contestants would get Matrix-compatible toys. Besides, it would be a really good move for Hasbro. That way, everyone would win since you could just buy your favorite contestant and Primal, then take Primal's Matrix and give it to the other contestant (Shockwave for me).

I don't think I ever mentioned this on the boards before, but one idea I had for what the gimmick might be for POTP is a Matrix (key) activated weapons gimmick. Where maybe each figure comes with some kind of Matrix that deploys whatever gimmick.

And I am now prepared for the barrage of anti Cybertron Cyber Key negativity this post will generate.

Bring it on, I friggin' loved the Cyber Keys. Granted I'm a little biased given that line was my childhood and I do recognise the flaws - namely that it requires a big chunk of the figure be given over to functionality and hence limiting what they can do for transformation - but screw it, I love it.

Oh, thanks for saying all that for me! Seriously though, I totally agree. Hopefully if they do do Cyber Keys again, they can make it more streamlined.

Oh good guys. I was expecting an instant back lash of nay saying. I too loved the keys and the whole dang line (even though I was a full grown manboy ).
I mean some of the deployables were cool and some weren't, but over all I always thought the gimmick was pretty fun.

It's all speculation though, but if it comes to fruition, I get dibsies on "Called It"!

Cyber keys are cool. Even if some of the gimmicks weren't that great, the actual keys were awesome little things. I wish I had more Cybertron toys- the only one I bought when the line was out was Dark Scorponok. Curse you, Lego Exo-Force, you distracted me from one of the best toylines we've ever had!

As we know Titans Return is continuing through at least wave 5, and probably wave 6, that carries it through the end of this year. Power of the Primes is most likely starting Q1 2018, with the first toys popping up in late 2017.

Yes, I would love to see Cyber Keys again! A while ago I was wondering if they would do something for the 10th anniversary of Cybertron, like re-release a few figures or something. New molds based on the designs like Beast Wars got. Cybertron is what got me into the franchise, but there were so many figures from the line I never had the opportunity to get. Would be great to see it in the spotlight again.
