I've repainted three of the Starscream knockoffs, and am actually considering modifying the arms to have normal elbow movement.

Except for the Predaking KO. The quality of the plastic is very solid not cheaply made compared to the KO combiners you find in the Easter Baskets. Like Is aid before it's one of the best KO I've seen...

Probably, I've never had one to compare. I was just referring to the 3 1/2 Scramble City combiners (sorry, the "menasor" only counts as 1/2) and the normal scale Devastator.

the best ko i have is a combiner, it is the gestalt RUINATION with desert colors NOT by hasbro, for just $5 at Big Lots, almost better than the original.
the worse is the evil double combining MasterForce jets, i got from a flea market. the plastic reminds me of a doggie chew-toy, softer, and weird.

When you purchase a Japanese version do the faction symbols look the same as the US versions. I ask this because I recently purchased a RiD Scourge on ebay, the Jap version, and from the pictures on the box the Decepticon symbols on his shoulders look diffent. The picture is small and it's hard to tell. Has RiD scourge been KO'ed?

I bought the Japanese version of Combaticons: Bruticus for the Car Robot 2000 series (RID). The Decepticon insignia were replace by an upside down "Generation 2" Autobot insignia... It had the 15 year Anniversary sticker on the boxes. The Japanese verison of Scourge also had the upside down "Generation 2" Autobot insignia...

I found a new one (to me anyways). It's an oversized knockoff of G1 Darkwing/Hydra in white, complete with powermaster and guns, but the powermaster mechanism is disabled, and in fact Throttle is a solid non-transforming brick, but still shaped like Throttle! Even through the jet is enlarged a bit, Throttle is normal sized for a Nebulan. He also comes an extra sword weapon, which is odd since he already has his hands full with his two guns. I did figure out you can put the two guns together and have one hand hold them.

The jet is about 9.5 inches long, and the real Darkwing is only 8 inches long. so it's about 120% the original size. The originsl toy was 1/84 scale jet.

Cost $6 at Big Lots. I wish the powermaster transformed, since it's harder to find him than the jet these days!

Funny thing is that he's plastered with "F-18" and he's not one, he's a Panavia Tornado jet.

This was the ONLY one at the store I saw. I hope they make a Dreadwind, so I can see if they combine.

I just opened it up. The quality is fairly good. The legs have a bit of trouble staying extended. I checked out the original toy instructions and noticed it was not packaged in the correct form for jet. The whole thing was not folded properly in the legs, but I can put them in the right way. The head extendig mechanism works properly when you rotate the body.

It's a little tough getting the nosecone folded back without a powermaster, as it still has the latches holding it together and nothing to disengage them but brute force.

The parts needed to make it into Dreadwing are included, although it has trouble keeping it's nose fin extended.

The fist holes on the right and left are actually different sizes. It's designed to put a rifle in his right hand and the sword in his left.

Due to a slightly loose right knee he stands slightly to the right when I can balance him on that knee. He's about the size of a Voyager.

He has lots of stickers, but all but one are only visible only in vehicle mode, leaving his robot mode very white and boring.

Anyone got a name? I'm thinking of Cloudrazor.

http://www.biglotswholesale.com/shoppin ... rodID=7385

It says it comes in 2 varities, 2 to a case, so I hope the other is Dreadwind. Anyone else seen him?

Found these knockoff legends:

I'm guessing they are not for the general public on this site, but for wholesale?

Here is the Knockoff Darkwing compared to Classic Starscream. He's leaning because he has trouble keeping his right leg extended, his own body weight pushes it back in. I think I can work on it.

I'm calling his Cloudrazor.

Hey, yeah, the other one is Dreadwind. I picked him up at the BigLots in Ebensburg, PA. The Powermaster is exactly the same as the one in Darkwing. They do combine, but not very well.

Does anyone know anywhere online I could pick up a set of the oversized (8 inch) Robotmasters Star Saber and Victory Leo? I haven't seen them on eBay for a couple of weeks or so....

Isn't that the "Generation 3" Inferno toy? Seriously, I believe a knockoff company made a "Transformers: Generation 3" toy Inferno. I have one myself, but I'm missing the accessories. Those blue wings are wild.

The Scourge appears to be based off the Ultra-class version (meaning it's not the same one Toyhell has right now) by looking at the hands. :-? It's got the wrist-claws and not that lame molded-in fist like the LOC. Also, the KO has the full "loincloth armor" instead of the LOC's little sculpted thingy, as well as a tail-axe. It's not folded up against his back like the little one. Example of LOC and Ultra Scourge together.

Either way I freakin' WANTS IT. That thing looks strangely cool and would make great repaint fodder! Here's to hoping Toyhell or Biglots gets these someday. (If anyone ever finds one, I'd be willing to pay for it. Seriously. XD)
